Hi Kristy. I am making this at the moment., and really enjoying it. I started with the pockets, and felt confused at times, but studied the chart and pictures and got there in the end. Now doing the body pieces, which are building up quite quickly, as the stitches are more basic. I just love it!

Yes you can burn it if it smells like burnt paper then it’s cotton if it smells like burnt hair it’s wool ,silk also smells the same but it’s ashes are light ,acrylic smells like burnt plastic melts into some dark hard stuff.

*Sorry I know this is an old video, but I've just been doing the pockets on this and really struggled so wanted to highlights some bits* Honestly this pattern was not straight forward for me aha, as a brit I thought it would be fairly easy to get on with, but it seemed to miss important information, no extra diagrams, just a bit of a mess tbh! the Love Crafts Videos and team seem really keen to help if you struggle with anything reach out and ask them! No disrespect to Katie Jones, I love her style and look I personally found this really tricky to follow with the existing pattern and am tempted to just write it up differently for my own use another time! hope this helps someone!
