The version with the ORIGINL lyrics (funky shit) was from the album "Book of Dreams" released in 1977 (I believe). Personally speaking, this was his high-water mark.
Too bad for that one lyric that's just stupid, and prevents this tune from being a great song. As it stands, it's just another catchy profane tune... :(
