This new CNY song is avant garde, which disrupts the "style" of MediaCorp's previous formulaic/SOP MVs. It's also refreshing to see comedic talents instead of those "ah-ge ah-jie". They add so much soul & vibes to liven up the mood of the MV, unlike the past "ah-ge ah-jie" versions that felt stiff.
