I've had the pleasure of seeing Paul Thorn at several intimate venues in the Richmond, Charlottesville area... He is certainly a talented, yet, humble man..I've never been disappointed. This was the last concert my late cousin Jeanne and I saw together..we lost count many years ago. She passed 5 1/2 years ago...Fly High my beautiful Angel...I miss you...He's still around as you guessed....very talented,..I"m really happy that we got to see this show together,, You called it...Talent shows,.....
My first knowledge of Paul Thorn was in the 1980s when he was a professional boxer fighting locally and eventually got a shot to fight Roberto Duran in Thursday Night Fights in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He didn't win but the 23 yr. old Thorn gave him a heck of a.fight. I saw him perform in Tupelo recently and he was telling about having to take an ambulance to the hospital after the fight but he also filled something I hadn't known and that's Duran rode to the same hospital in the ambulance as Paul, so he is a very special song writer and performer. Okalona Ms. Is where he grew up and Tupelo is his home now but that's just a footnote in his life even though it doesn't matter if you are from.Tupelo, Jackson or any other town.in Mississippi noatter how small you can go far and Paul is just one example there have been many greats come from.small town Mississippi. Paul Bluesy soulful style is really unique and exceptionally great and expect to see and hear so much more from this small town Mississippi artist still to come. A ways to go for this Mississippi Boy who has become a great Mississippi Man!
I just discovered his music last night and am in love. He has an absolutely adorable sense of humor and is an amazing poet singer songwriter... Performer. Period. His wisdom and talent stands out as extraordinary in my book the rest of the world is missing out. I'll do my best to share him with everyone I can keep long enough to show them his video's via TH-cam. Shoulda been rich and famous long ago but I bet it's what made him so damn good.
@@CarterCountyCruisers gotta say I've seen him many times in person... really thought he was stoned more than once.....but look at the schedule these guys keep
I just love to leave message you don't know I'm stuck here in Kentucky and Johnny Jehovah's wishes stripper it was like some of your songs are really and I was baptism whatever and these are I like very inspiring please keep hanging on makeup all you can tell you why you need to make more more for this Kentucky state
like many of his songs its simple, yet hiding a deep truth. Don't women realize how inscrutable they can be to us? To bad those g..d..rings never worked!

great job once again from PAUL THORN... Recently saw PAUL in Bethlehem, PA... Keep up the great emotions to others..
He has the tortured eyes of a poet. Or maybe he's just stoned, either way I like him.
He deserves to become rich and famous, or at least rich.
+mtnman2 Tortured poet is what I'm going with. That and being hit by Roberto Duran years ago.
I think he's well on his way.... hope you're keeping up with his career....if not, check him out these days
