Here’s why I think the app is shutting down: The 2019 rebrand. By retiring the classic Noggin’s face & retiring Moose and Zee as the mascots they turned it into a shell of its former self. Let’s not forget that one huge reason Noggin came back as an app was due to the backlash of Nick Jr. removing Moose & Zee from the channel.
I have MAD Respect for you Medora, Happy Anniversary to Noggin and you. I like the Noggin logo too because you could add so many things on top, and many expressions. I also recommend you upload all your Noggin tapes (and maybe your Fox Kids and HBO Jam tapes) to the archive website. I appreciate that you don't do sponsorship ads either, they do get annoying.

The reason I set the video up so early was that I thought it would take way longer to make this video than it ended up making. But as it turned out, it only took about a week to make! Quite the tribute, there. :) Something else I recently took a look into was the monthly themes being handled after Moose and Zee's full retirement after February 2012. Mainly with how the characters, with their OG voices, sang each other's songs. By now, Paw Patrol has swapped actors so many times, it's hard to feel the same (didn't even recognize the acclaimed S6 voices in early Blue's Clues & You). And yet this was before Paw Patrol. We had Dora's new voice when she went HD, the live-action Fresh Beat Band, Bubble Guppies - one of their most recent faces, and Team Umizoomi. The last one stands out to me, I feel it a middle point between OG and rebooted Blue's Clues. And not counting the Pepper Pig, probably the oldest show they'd rerun by '23 (albeit around midnight), though I do fear it being retired now... And Bubble Guppies? I don't really favor the Backyardigans route they took upon their return, I didn't even realize Molly's original VA returned to speaking. Though I recently found some fun fanfics for them by one Superfloxes, who also (in late 2018) wrote Paw Patrol's main kittens with personalities, and it managed to make their continuous appearances afterwards more tolerable for me. And of course fics like Relight the Fire. Tug said talented writers can make anything work? Yes.
I very very vaguely remember watching pre-2002 Noggin if at all, as I was just a baby and was born in 2001, a year before it became a preschool channel. I also watched Nick Jr mostly from 2009-2012.

Hey Medora, just got the terrible news that the app will be shut down at the end of the year and the Noggin catalog (episodes, games, play-along videos, eBooks and the recently launched Nogginville game which is a Nick Jr. simulator cross between Minecraft and Roblox) will be migrated into Paramount+ under the Noggin/Nick Jr. content hub banners due to the entire Noggin LLC. team getting laid off (and on Valentines Day February 14th of all the dates). I'm just wondering exactly how many employees on the Noggin SVOD app's team were there if the entire team got eliminated from the Paramount company? 800 people were laid off and got kicked out of Paramount's mountain recently, including Eryk Casemiro (executive producer) who had recently stepped down as the Executive Vice President of Nick Jr. Preschool Television with a replacement for him yet to be announced, so I'm not sure if the Noggin app staff consisted of around 200 people staff total or not. Please reply to this and let me know since I'm not very good with company employees statistics. Thank you.

Ahh, Noggin. A channel I always revisit whenever my nostalgia ball kicks in. Even during my early years where the channel was near close to dying, I still remember watching it when I tuned into my parents or other family members TV, and I also remember going on the website to play some of their games (namely the Oswald or Wubbzy ones). It's so sad how Nickelodeon stripped EVERYTHING that made the channel unique - the aesthetic, the mascots, and even its own logo - in favor of making it its own Nick Jr. I didn't even know about the refresh until back in 2023 - which, ironically, was also the year where I began to revisit the channel and it's (former) mascots; aside from Moose and Zee, there was also Phred and Feetface, who, while not as popular as the former two, are my personal favorites due to how funny, unique and cute they are (especially Phred, who is arguably my favorite mascot of the channel). I even revisited your first video on the channel's history for the first time in 2 years, and for all of the hardships you've faced, I'm so glad you still had the strength to continue your channel, or otherwise you would've faded to obscurity with your one-hit wonder. Anyways, happy 25th anniversary to Noggin, and happy 5th anniversary to Medora Entertainment! 🎉

I don’t know if anyone will see this comment. But right now, the Noggin website has a rebooting page. And what’s weirder, is that the logo you’ll see isn’t the abomination that is the new one, it’s the classic Noggin face!
You are wrong about Moose and Zee segments are off from Noggin app the only Moose and Zee trace on 2019 Noggin is only segments from Noggin from 2003-2009 and Nick Jr. Channel from 2009-2012. And the shows that are oringally on the Noggin app like originals and Nick Jr. shows stayed on the app until March 2020. And also the Nick Jr. app closed down on January 31 of this year so if Noggin were to shut down they will put the content on the Nick Jr. website.
Noggin was kinda absolutely after my time but oh man I like how witty The Backyardigans was it's a good musical show for smaller kids and preschoolers. ❤
Hey I do have an idea for the next history and I do have something that I'm actually shocked but do you think about doing the next one call Acme night basically they are Sunday nights on Cartoon Network movies but sadly they were discontinued again and it happened last year and they moved to the Adult Swim well basically last Sunday was the last movie The Air Space Jam a new Legacy maybe you think about doing the history of Acme night do you think about that also I am completely shocked this is actually the surprised that you swear I guess because of the TH-cam changes that makes sense but and I had to agree then Noggin app what's disappointed unleash there's one goodness they brought back the splat
