Burn propagation is done in a radius on hit, it won't chain to a random enemy across the screen. Burn doesn't stack like you mentioned. However sausage stats stack themselves and thus make the SMG a pseudo flamethrower with 4 sausages. Just like having all baby elephants with multiple Cyberballs cause an infinite chain kill with Lucky.
I think the one thing I would love to see is that you would actually go for builds with the new weapons/items you unlock. You always unlock a new gun or item at the end of the run, but not only do we rarely get to know what it does because you skip it, you also never pick it, so it feels like watching the same thing. Like I get that you do different characters and you match the theme, but I would love to see you try to for example go for the destroyer build. Or the chop. Or anything else you've unlocked. Just a suggestion. I still always watch your videos and love them, just a suggestion for future.
I had a Huuuge run today The stats: 102 max lp 21 lp reg 9 life steal 120 dmg 100 meele dmg 108 atk speed 36% dodge 42% speed 123 harvest With 3 fists, 3 hands as a Brawler I melted the boss insane fast, i did like 400dmg per hit, in combination with the speed and Life+reg was so insane
scared sausage is a seperate burn proc then your weapons burn proc. the mage starts with one sausage so you dont notice it but if you do an elemental build not on mage an get the sausage it is noticeable. so when you didnt lock that one i was very sad for you lol. Scared sausage when youre running elemental is actually disgusting
I asked about the burn behaviour on the Discord some days ago and this was explained to me: "burning overrides weaker burning and refreshes the duration to that stronger burning I think" Making pretty much any burn but the strongest one pointless, unless the strongest one is not guaranteed to be triggered

Perhaps because ive always taken multiple of the scared sausage it just seemed to me like it was proccing alongside my weapon burn but actually it was just overriding it. Thats good to know though, was unaware that was how the mechanic really worked. Makes sense, if all 6 weapons and sausage procced at separately itd be serious melting of enemies
@@mrwillham5393 You only need 1 very good burning device. This makes 1 red flamethrower more powerful than 6 purple flamethrowers most of the time. Combine the rest with tasers and you have a really good build.
@@dtly50 yeah with how dex explained the burning mechanic thats what i assumed would be optimal since only the most powerful burn applies. hopefully we see more elemental effects in the future too. Can do so many weapons with elemental effects.
Running sausage with a burning build doesn’t do anything. If you want to do a sausage/elemental build you are better off running taser or lightning shiv. Or any high fire rate weapon will work too, but are worse on mage because almost any non-elemental damage will only be doing will only hit for 1, throughout the entire game
I think it would be a nice pace if you do another pacifist like run. As you are about half way cleaning house with other characters, pacifist was doing LVL 0? And at that time you werent that knowledgable, so it could be a good halfway checkpoint see how much you grown.

burn proliferation happens on hit and from the wording it can spread to 1 enemy per hit per proliferation source within a radius

I played a 10hp per second heal build today and used 12 sticks to win difficulty 2 without moving.
Mage is really op. I tested him yesterdays. The round went pretty smooth. :)

You can lock good items, like bag, in the first two rounds while rolling for weapons. You are still guaranteed 2 weapons per roll while locking it
And it keeps the low price. :D
