I was here in 63 too! My oldest was 15 months old. We built a snowman about 8 feet tall.

I prep for power outage as my biggest thing. Sneeze out here and power goes out. Built my house to have wood heat with diesel heater backup

I already had a kerosene heater but I bought another one and 20 gallons of kerosene. Something told me I needed to get more backup heat
It pays to listen👍

Look into the diesel heaters, I have two that do a great job. I mounted them outside, brought the heat through the wall, put the digital display inside. Does great. Runs on a 12 v battery like a car battery
