- I traveled to a Thai island off the coast of Phuket called Coconut Island. It really wasn't all I expected it to be. So let me share why this island may not be for you, and who it is really for.

Fun history fact about coconut island.
It was only relatively recently colonized when a plane crashed on it with only two survivors. Ian kutzinski a russo-irish sociologist and and 9 other figures left unamed.
Ian kutzinski proved an adept climber able to gather all the coconuts of the island quickly. He used that collection of resources to barter him self into command and give tasks to the other survivors he would reward with coconuts.
Eventually a rescue by a local fisherman would come but Ian kutzinski refused to leave and instead of that he began trading coconuts for small things with the local fishermen.
After that locally word came out he was hiring leading in an influx of people going to the island in the prospect of a job.
After 6 years of building up Ian kutzinski officially started the company known as Alden's
coconuts in honor of his close friend and world renown mathematician George Alden. The man that came up with the theory known today as Alden's number.
Ian's company kept growing and so did the island under the economical pillar he set.
He would later on write a book titled coconut island an autobiographical novel detailing his experience in the island and how he managed to prosper due to his ideology that he defined as super capitalism.
Today Alden's company owned by Ian kutzinski is responsible for 5% of the worlds coconut export.
And Ian him self has retired and makes content on TH-cam under the chanel known as vaush.

Absolutely! Yeah I always want to see what the local life is like outside the resorts. Such a contrast but 24 hours was enough to see the whole place!

the resort property looks nice from what is already completed.,,but unfortunate there isnt much to do. But if you just want to relax than it isnt a bad option I guess. Thanks for sharing Alex.

✓It's very quiet, on the island!!😁 It's also scary along the way there are no other people,..if in Bali, Indonesia there are motorbike rentals,.. so tourists don't get bored if they have to stay at the villa. It looks like the Resort is in the Construction Stage, it looks like it will be good in the future the beach view is also good👍👍. Lonely alone if Kintania is accompanied by fun, huh.. Miss Kintania, Alex, when will we vlog together again??👍

My husband and i were thinking of booking at the village resort thru luxury escapes in sept. didn't realise how new and quiet it is. we're more of a going to different restaurants, explore night markets kinda people. So this is probably not our cup of tra when it comes to accomodation. thank you for this video

Maybe from your hotel, they probably have bicycles not scooters. The island is small you could honestly walk it thats what i did
I can't imagine staying in that place for two weeks or one month, as too quiet a tourist there was no interaction.
Too quite for me , but that food looks amazing

@@alexandwhite good question! thanks for asking. : Soon! Def this year. Most likely the beginning of March or June. Just finishing up some things. Thailand is on the top short list, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, is below that. I might have to do a Latin America trip first, then Asia. But yes. Watching your videos could change that order. hahahahahaha. And of course I'd do Coconut island why not for a few days. Thailand is easier to get into now, and since it was on the list anyway, it's looking like Thailand. My last trip was Ecuador all over the country solo and wow that was quite an adventure. But I'm really been looking forward for Asia and I'll end up going at least a few times. I love watching your videos. Not only does it give me an idea/taste of the country with some insight. But as I said before, I love your straight-forward candid approach to your videos. You keep it real, informative, still fun, but not over the top. Love to see you experiencing new adventures. You'll be way gone by the time I get there but who knows love to bring you something from the states [learning to fill the bags on the way over with stuff you cant get (not clothes)] like electronics etc. In Ecuador I brought Mattel Hot Wheels and Colored Pens with Journals to hand out to all the kids when I got there. @@alexandwhite Appreciate it if u let us know d tourism in Thailand in general. I've only been to Phuket, Phi Phi, Bangkok, Haadyai, Songkla, n I find it quite charming, but that was 20 years ago. After watching vlogs, I found places, small island like Phi Phi r over developed for tourist n almost empty during lockdown. Hope u r having a good time. 🙂

No didn’t see any, the whole island is pretty walkable. There are a few taxis on the island used by the locals at port
