I could hear Kari. Now to have fun watching you two shop! May I just add a little info for you? When Rachel was riding, I noticed the dust from the dirt starting to fly around. If it is ever high enough in the rink for her to be breathing in, she shouldn't be inhaling all of that silica. I've seen it before at a private girls school in Simsbury, CT, one night on my way home. Totally looked like a dust storm. I spoke with one of the instructors when she came into the office I worked in and asked her about that and all the dangerous silica the girls were inhaling. After that, the riding area was wet down to prevent that. Just wanting to keep Rachel safe.

I was told by my grandmother who had Blue Willow plates that if there are three people on the bridge, they are Blue Willow. Two people on the bridge are an off brand.
We were the last family in the neighborhood that still had a black and white t.v. with the rabbit ears, 3 channels, and and we had to change the channel with a pair of pliers because the handle broke off years before it finally died and the t.v. repair man had died too. Lol
And we had a party line for the phone. We had to share our number with the Eshman's, and the Murphy's.
Actually I use rabbit (with tin foil on them of course, just like the good old days. 😂) ears now, because I can't afford cable.
It’s funny how much things have changed. When we moved in this house (1998), it still had an aerial antenna. We removed that and had cable installed. Then as the price of cable rose higher & higher, my husband decided he wanted to try … wait for it … going back to an antenna!! Yeah, we turned off the cable about 10 years ago and use a digital antenna on our smart TV. But nowadays I watch more on the TV’s TH-cam app than actual live TV. So weird !!

The terrier piece could also be listed as a Welsh Terrier...the head grooming and shape makes it look more like a welshy to me. I have shown dogs for over 40 years, people love Breed Specific things, and that is a less common breed, so hard to find things that nice. Happy to ID breeds for people anytime. Too often I see things listed incorrectly, which could mean the item isn't seen by the right buyers! love the vids, you guys are funny!

Great Haul. I love you and Kari together. Friends having fun together. Great to see Rachel riding the horse. My daughter is a horse lover since she was litte. She has had a horse for many years. She gets great enjoyment from her horse.

Hi Danni, I have a very simple recipe for Rachel to try just two ingredients. 1box of Philadelphia cream cheese 8 oz box and 1 jar of marshmallow whip, soften the cream cheese mix until smooth then add marshmallow whip mix and dip your strawberry in the goodness and enjoy.
I would not have passed up the pink depression glass in perfect condition because it was beautiful, regardless of current resale value. I would have kept it for myself.
Me too!!! Not a fan normally, but that one was special.
I remember changing the channel manually, and rabbit ears on top of the tv to get reception. You had to let the tv warm up after you turned it on.
The teapots without lids might be worth looking into more. There is a trend right now for putting houseplants into decorative teapots. I have sold 4 in the last 2 weeks. Thought I would mention it. That cast iron Teapot would have been a fabulous one.
I've seen that in tourist spots in Ireland

My mom had a set of the crinkle glasses, we drank ice tea from them, it stained the inside of the crinkles and was HARD to get out!!! Maybe now with dishwashers and the detergents they use it won’t be a prob🤔. I hated them because it was my job to scrub stain build up out😳
My Granny had big fostoria tea glasses for iced southern brew.
A tiny amount of chlorine bleach in water cleans them in a jiffy. Also, great on coffee stained mugs. Do not leave in long, though.

The difference between blue onion and blue willow is there are onions and florals on blue onion and pagodas, trees and bridges on blue willow

Other sales. Our color of the week specials stopped last year. We also have a limit on the amount of items we can purchase no more then 15 pieces per person.
That's crazy and stupid. Resellers and upcyclers, like me, keep their doors open. I can just see me saying one purchase only to my customers. Good grief.

I love shopping vi-Kari-ously! I loved the swan boats; got to go on them with my mother, brother, and my grandmother as a small child and threw peanuts to the ducklings. Great memory! I love finding gifties for my friends when thrifting! I loved the pink depression glass you put back! I took a clear etched cake plate and glued a round mirror in the center and put a plate hanger on it! It sold! I have found the tidbit tray hardware pieces thrifting; it is worth keeping your eyes out! I'm sure you can find one on-line! Good luck trying to get stockers to NOT put the stickers on the name, tape on the gold rims of cups and saucers, and permanent black markers on unglazed pieces!
Growing up in the 60s, my dad had four kids...so four "boob tube" (TV) remotes. It sure kept us outside on weekends during college football season. You couldn't go to the kitchen or bathroom without passing by his recliner and get stuck changing channels for ten min.
So happy to see Kari with you not so boring!!
At my Goodwill seniors do get a daily discount (10%), Can also join a rewards program that keeps tabs on your purchases and asigns points. After a certain amount of points you can get money off your purchase. Watching your videos always results in learning something new.

Today they released the Swan Boats in Boston Common; always the start of spring here. Kari picked up a small replica and it just reminded me of the best time of year.

Yes, ours often prices those items higher than Dollar Store and also for Dollar General, Target, and Walmart who offer 99-cent items as well. Pays to browse about and know your prices. My late husband hated to shop with me. He said, You don't shop, you take inventory!!! LOL. So true.

I picked up a poodle (apricots) themed frame for under two dollars the other day. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Looked brand new. Although I mostly shop for items to upcycle, could not resist this frame. Easy money, just price and sell. No upcycling needed. Like you, with your Frenchy, I have a very difficult time finding Pekingese items and I am super picky, LOL.
