    Happy New Year, everybody :)
    For the mini E-board I built this time, I combined some of my favorite parts that I have used recently. It took a lot of time to make, but it was very satisfying.
    I hope the weather gets better soon...

      Hi, broooo. Happy New Year too :)
      The build points of this mini-board are... First of all, it's a short deck, but since it's equipped with DKP, I was able to secure a wheelbase that was 10cm longer than when I installed RKP. And I decided that DKP's flexibility would suit me well because I thought I could barely use kicktail. Also, I was free from wheel bytes by using a wide truck.
      Of course, the appearance was satisfactory.
      It's snowing a lot here today as well
      I also thank you for watching the video and I hope everything is good for you this year

    Esk8 ASMR! Lol awsome build! When u stared to cut the cork again i just about fell over... So much time and dedication but its all worth it for your own custom look and doggy + date for memories. Did u try the kicktail? Curious to know how much u can lift before the gear drive touches ground. I loke short board for portability but i find that i dont use the kicktail to turn much.

    • @KAMiJUINs
      @KAMiJUINs  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The kicktail is probably hard to use in this structure. So I used flexible DKP in this build.
      And I really don't want to do cork cutting again. Next time, I'm going to order from YOC Grip lol :)
      Thank you for watching my videos for a long time~ Happy new year bro :)

    Love every single video! One question, you mentioned that most of these parts were chosen because of your preference. What makes you prefer acedeck's geardrive over omni's geardrive? I've been inspired to make something of my own, but I'm not sure which one to choose.

    • @KAMiJUINs
      @KAMiJUINs  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you for watching :)
      There is a gear ratio difference between the two drives. (OMIN 2.7 / Acedeck 2.8) The reason I preferred the Acedeck gear drive in that build was because it was a street type E-board and I was going to use 12s voltage and 105 MAD wheels, so I wanted to get a little more torque.
      If you want faster top speed, choose OMIN, and if you want more torque, choose Acedck.

    Interesting enclosure. I made a mold this morning for my switchade, it cracked while removing the plug, but that can be fixed tomorrow. I found the last enclosure to be too stiff, so this one will be segmented for flex. Fitting 12s11p under a switchblade with enough clearance is a prick. I wonder how waterproof your rubber enclosure will be?

    • @KAMiJUINs
      @KAMiJUINs  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think light waterproofing is possible. But with such a large capacity battery, it would be hard to be durable with rubber sheets.
      You should consider another way, too.

    • @timmeey6902
      @timmeey6902 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well, I did once but a sheet of alloy with similar intentions and have not yet used it. So far I've far I've found slightly flexible decks to be more enjoyable than stiff decks, and glass/carbon fits the news best. The most outrageous battery I have done was when I had myself a GTX with 10s9p poorly stuffed in it, to increase range further I filled a tramping pack up with five scooter batteries and screwed copper pads to each shoe. Also, copper pads to the deck. Just no walking on cattle stops this way.

    Happy New Year! Love your channel (been here since your Voyager review) especially the tech & DIY & the cutest little dog in Esk8! Sadly, I crashed my Voyager, small stick jammed in belt, instant Superman at 45km, nothing broken, but very sore & at 68, not keen to repeat the experience! Apparently Meepo has a gear drive kit for Voyager, so wondering if you could review it? I'll need a new deck (big split in side from impact) or maybe a new board :( Had it set up perfectly with Riptide bushings, Mad 105 v2's & Waterborne Surf Adapter with CF extender, super carvy & very stable!) Any input/ advice greatly appreciated, cheers :)

    Will the ACEDECK ELEMENT CNC 2-in-1 GEAR DRIVE KIT work with the standard Tynee Mini 3 Pro Motors?

    • @KAMiJUINs
      @KAMiJUINs  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's possible if the Tynee's motor shaft is a 10mm diameter D-cut bore. However, I'm not sure if it'll fit the Mini 3 using an RKP truck, as the GearDrive of Acedeck has a reverse installation by default.

    Would you say making your own board is cheaper for the value or are you better just buying retail? excluding time investment of course

    • @KAMiJUINs
      @KAMiJUINs  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you understand the advantages and disadvantages of each part and can combine them well with the board of your choice of performance, DIY is worth the price. However, if you're new to E-board, I recommend you buy a production board first and experience it. Production boards are generally cheaper these days, making them more affordable than DIY. And DIY can incur trial and error costs. So it's not too late to fully understand E-board with a production board and do DIY.
      Thanks :)

    • @KAMiJUINs

    Great build! I think the advancements in mini-boards have been stagnant for too long, especially when all the major brands just keep going bigger and bigger.

    • @KAMiJUINs
      @KAMiJUINs  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Perhaps the limitation of the battery capacity that can be mounted on the mini-board and the resulting relatively low available discharge rate is responsible for the stagnation.
