quick tip for manuvering villagers: the best way to move villagers without minecarts/boats is with bells. if you ring a bell, no matter the time of day, all nearby villagers will run to the nearest bed (i don't think it matters if the bed is claimed or not). i used this in the exact same iron farm design that you have here, and it was SO useful - no rails needed. maybe that would have been useful when you were doing this ;)

The iron golems are not falling due to them attempting to path find to the zombie. glass blocks on only the center side to block line of sight can fix this. Also corner rails make the minecart better at picking up entities than straight ones.

the golems stopped spawning because you interrupted the day-night cycle for villagers with the glass roof. a villager can only spawn golems for so long; then, it must sleep to reset its golem spawning. the glass roof might have stopped villagers from sleeping properly.

15:32 was fake btw just saying, you simply spawned in a wither skeleton with a wither skeleton head on it, when you hit the skeleton the head didn't go red, wild accusation but why did you fake this?
i felt the suffering you were feeling when removing all the stone around the farm, i once tried to remove a 100x100 grid all the way to bedrock and once i got to a quater of the way through i just quit its really mentally draining and something i wouldnt wish on my worst enemy
if i recall correctly part of the criteria for a villager to attempt to spawn an iron golem is that there must be a spawnable block in range that's exposed to the sky. if you see this before the walls come down, you can probably keep them
The inspiration to make a huge iron farm like this is insane, Definitely will make one of these and add a few layers since I still have not built an iron farm in my world where I've already spent almost 200 Minecraft days in, and probably many more irl days.
If you never figured out the problem with the wither skeleton farm. One other thing I can think of is you may have been more than 128 blocks above the spawning platform which would mean no mobs can spawn on it or below. If you followed a tutorial it's unlikely but still possible. I've built that same farm a few times and I usually use the minihud mod for fabric since it can show the despawn radius around the player. Good luck with it and loved the video!
I feel like mining all that out and placing the iron blocks is like sawing your foot off. Such a big area isn’t required and you coulda just placed moss carpets to stop the spawning. I respect it. But man.
For those attempting to make a large farm like this, here are some tips: - Make the floor of your temporary breeder house and surrounding area (about 10 blocks out in any direction) path blocks to prevent iron golems from spawning. Don't forget to make the roof out of path blocks too, or else just skip having a roof entirely. - Rather than putting villagers into individual boats to separate them, you can use water streams to push them all into a corner made of glass blocks and then send a minecart by. The minecart will pick up one villager at a time magically through the corner of the glass blocks. (You don't even need redstone for this. Just run into the minecart to give it some speed, or else have it start its journey a few blocks higher than where it will pick up the villagers.) - Instead of using powered rails, you can just use regular rails and a minecart with furnace. Load in a piece of coal and watch the villagers chug along to their new homes. -You only need to get the villagers close to the three beds. Once they're in a little dirt box by the beds, just wait til night and they will path to them automatically. - You can place zombies in boats instead of having to name tag them to prevent them from despawning. - Placing a bit of ice underneath the water nearer to the edges of the water streams will speed the golems along to their deaths.
If anyone else struggling with pushing villagers into those individual cells for most iron farm designs, break the slabs underneath them. They won’t walk off if it’s high enough, so don’t bother placing dirt around everywhere either. Breaking the slab. The villager instantly gets into bed at nighttime.
My hatred for moving villagers and zombies pretty much vanished when I started using activator rails. Get them exactly on the spot you want them, 100% reliably every single time. It’s so easy it boggles my mind that I literally see not a single other person doing it. Also instead of pushing them into minecarts, cram them into a wall using water and run a minecart length wise. Reliably picks a guy up and then puts it in place, you don’t even have to do anything. Life changer
Something I think you could do that would be cool is some sky view Timelapses of you mining or something. It wouldn’t bore the viewer and it would make the video feel more connected.
I stopped watching Minecraft TH-cam shortly after captain sparkles won the first hunger games but I never miss a juice upload you’re so relaxing to watch
Ahh I enjoyed watching this so much :) but ATTENTION: in order for the witherskeletonfarm to work you need to deactivate all chunkloaders (and there can't be any players in the overworld...shoudn't bother you tho since you're in singleplayer)
Beacons have infinite range upwards, but limited range downwards. You gave yourself a lot of extra work having to move the beacon every time instead of just putting it at the bottom to start with
While I have always been reluctant to use these kind of farms, I’ve found myself finally using simple nether portal based farms, because if you have a decent pickaxe obsidian isn’t that hard to mine in quantities, and the gain in efficiency means that you could remove one of the 3 layers and still have more production on a smaller footprint
This is really nice. I think Iron farm was my first major project in my world. You should definitely look into those world eaters first though lol. I'd recommend that you just build t he next iron farm, whenever that may be, over water. Good video 👍

I see you have a lot of coal but I always use lava... I must say, very well editing and creating a video where it keeps the audience engaged.
I love this guy. You deserve a sub fosho. The calm vibe and soothing voice to the vids. The crazy dedication to all the projects and still hearting all the comments. So glad youtube recommended you to me. One of the most underated youtubers. Definitely will be watching upcoming vids! Also so glad that your not a youtuber that tells us to subscribe every 2 minutes
Dude when you just casually panned to your iron farm and said this is the area i want to clear out with the pillars, my jaw dropped. Boss minecrafter
From memory iron farms can’t have roofs. Villagers being weird or something.
Also, look into some of the mods other hc TH-camrs use, theirs so many simple ‘non cheaty’ ones that help save heaps of time. Keep up the good work!
Cheers for letting me know. I'll look into it
@@Juic3e I just looked up the mod I was thinking about, it’s called ‘Tweakaroo’. A hc TH-camr called Wildezs has a video where he shows off the daily uses of it. It’d save time on the iron block floor massively.
Anyways like I said, keep the great work up. The chill videos are always nice to relax to and watch
Mods are bugged with malware at the moment. It’s recommended you don’t download new mods until that issue is resolved. May also want to scan for any existing malware. Best wishes.
you sir have set a standard for minecraft youtubers, your not screaming at every small thing and are putting in hella effort. If I start a minecraft series your energy is gonna be the one I try to match good job keep up the amazing work
love how much effort you're putting into these! love all the content your putting out, and despite the time it took, the farm looks amazing! keep up the good work and putting other youtubers to shame!👍
Thanks for your support 😁 I'd like to get into a better rhythm for pumping out content, but life 😑
I love how we all watch youtubers work on big projects on youtube while simultaneously working on big projects ourself
15:32 was fake btw just saying, you simply spawned in a wither skeleton with a wither skeleton head on it, when you hit the skeleton the head didn't go red, wild accusation but why did you fake this?
i also noticed this
i felt the suffering you were feeling when removing all the stone around the farm, i once tried to remove a 100x100 grid all the way to bedrock and once i got to a quater of the way through i just quit its really mentally draining and something i wouldnt wish on my worst enemy
I am so glad I found your content. Loving this series. Absolutely adored the melon series. Keep up the good work my friend. Quality stuff
Thanks, that's some high praise
if i recall correctly part of the criteria for a villager to attempt to spawn an iron golem is that there must be a spawnable block in range that's exposed to the sky. if you see this before the walls come down, you can probably keep them
The inspiration to make a huge iron farm like this is insane, Definitely will make one of these and add a few layers since I still have not built an iron farm in my world where I've already spent almost 200 Minecraft days in, and probably many more irl days.
Love the calmness of your voice and not hyper editing which would give a headache.
Seeing Juice has posted a video is always the highlight of my day. Your videos are so comforting!!
I've found that making a circle to get the villagers in is so helpful, they get in much quicker when the cart is moving
I'm thinking about making another one, seeing how that goes
Who ever is doing sountrack+sound editing should get a praise and raise! So good!
I feel like mining all that out and placing the iron blocks is like sawing your foot off. Such a big area isn’t required and you coulda just placed moss carpets to stop the spawning. I respect it. But man.
I’m here at 61k subs and I’m surprised it isn’t more, can’t wait for the next video.
keep makin your content G it's the only thing I wake up for anymore. You are my new technoblade. Rest in peace king
For those attempting to make a large farm like this, here are some tips:
- Make the floor of your temporary breeder house and surrounding area (about 10 blocks out in any direction) path blocks to prevent iron golems from spawning.
Just run into the minecart to give it some speed, or else have it start its journey a few blocks higher than where it will pick up the villagers.)
- Instead of using powered rails, you can just use regular rails and a minecart with furnace.
In less then 2 videos you became my fav Minecraft TH-camr, please keep the series like this!
If anyone else struggling with pushing villagers into those individual cells for most iron farm designs, break the slabs underneath them. They won’t walk off if it’s high enough, so don’t bother placing dirt around everywhere either.
Breaking the slab. The villager instantly gets into bed at nighttime.
The only thing you need to remove is the top layer for the iron farm to work again, they work better when uncovered for some reason
Now STATS that's the real content that people overlook!!!!! keep showing that stuff!
I always get curious for other people's
The wither skeleton at 15:31 was actually wearing an already dropped wither skull, you're lucky he picked it up or you would've missed out 🤣
My hatred for moving villagers and zombies pretty much vanished when I started using activator rails.
I'll look into it, thanks for the suggestion
I stopped watching Minecraft TH-cam shortly after captain sparkles won the first hunger games but I never miss a juice upload you’re so relaxing to watch
Thanks, that's great to hear 😁
love the calm editing style! kinda tired of mc youtubers constantly screaming in my face
Ahh I enjoyed watching this so much :)
but ATTENTION: in order for the witherskeletonfarm to work you need to deactivate all chunkloaders (and there can't be any players in the overworld...shoudn't bother you tho since you're in singleplayer)
Unnecessarily difficult with smooth narration. I could watch a 4 hr video of yours straight through!
A 4hr video you say, I'll hold you to that
This is really nice. I think Iron farm was my first major project in my world. You should definitely look into those world eaters first though lol. I'd recommend that you just build t he next iron farm, whenever that may be, over water. Good video 👍
these videos always make me want to play minecraft
