Explaining all the details is critical- even having beaten the game 3 times now there’s so much I didn’t understand and I missed. Found your channel looking for some spicy assassinorum guys and stumbled on a 14k days ludricrous crusades and been watching ever since. Man your style looks super fun. Played the hell out of this game on LG/GM and it made me pissed more than anything. Certaintly a complete 180 from LG/GM meta and it make you feel you are actually commanding GKs.
I think ill get the Assassins DLC and give this game a spin again without GM activated so at very least i can enjoy a stress free crusade. Cheers man.

I beat this game a few months ago before the first DLC (DE) dropped. Really enjoyed it, but it can be pretty punishing. After seeing some of your other uploads I'd just like to know - on day 14,285 are you still playing the campaign? I am assuming that something in DE lets you keep going.

Never seen anybody use the incinerator in the beginning missions before. I never found it that useful compared to a silencer. I picked up a Purifier to use one but even in that case it's meh.

As a follow up because I keep coming back to this, and I'm excited about the series continuing, any info you can give about skill tree choices, equipment choices etc. in the early game would be awesome. There are a lot of guides out there, but many are old, outdated, and from people who have a basic knowledge of the game compared to you.

I mean the game is pretty scummy to be fair, very unforgiving at the start but there is the grand master option for all difficulties its like just one auto save
we have no choice if we want to survive 🥲
The game does not respect your time at all, so I don't see a problem with shuffling the rng in your favor. There's no reason why you should be unable to choose which type of a glorious deed you want to commit to on any particular mission, instead of leaving it up to the whims of the games code, and suffering the consequences of lacking requisition, being understaffed and under-equipped in the future as a result, all because the game gave you something that you simply could not do period. I also see no reason why you should be forced to always replay the opening act, and cannot instead skip into the game proper. The game is desperately missing a lot of quality of life features such as simultaneous turns and it doesn't even have a feature that can disable enemy turn animations and it turns into a nightmare slog when you deal with more than a handful of enemies even if you mash speedup like crazy. The game is also really buggy, the enemy AI behaves poorly but it also blatantly cheats, with always knowing where you are if you break line of sight and always knowing the perfect line of sight and angle it could use to attack you whereas more often than not the player is left guessing if his units can or cannot take a decent shot at the enemy. Last but not least, the game also punishes you for playing well and not losing knights, I had never known about the commune with the dead mechanic and that to unlock the ultimate endgame strength, you actually had to get your knights killed, which is really silly, if you consider how long it takes to train one up to the point where you'd get the maximum use out of one via commune with the fallen. It would have been nice if an alternative could have been implemented that instead rewards the player that chooses to preserve the lives of his warriors and enabled the veterans to train novices in a similar fashion, except not relying on canned corpses. Oh and the achievements bugged out for me, I finished the game on Ruthless and didn't get anything but the first nine.

🤣Lmao i remember spending HOURS on what abilities i should get. i wanted to learn more, and while watching @gameghiskhan on youtube he said you can get more abilities... i was like huh.. i did not even notice commune after 500 hours wtf
