Loose Mirrors on Your Classic Vehicle? Quick Easy Fix!

  • Every time I’d close the doors on my 1977 Bronco, the mirrors would move. I’ve tried a variety of fixes over the years from glues, thread lockers, tacky greases and more, but they all seem to wear off over time.
    I think I may have finally found the answer by placing dimples in the ball mount with an automatic center punch.
    Fix the loose mirrors on your Classic car or truck for free.

      I hope it works for you! It’s still working well on my bronco, although I’ll probably add a few more dimples to the passenger side as it seems to have loosened just a tiny bit over the last year.

    Bruh.... So simple I have no idea why I didn't think of that. I have the same mirror on my 74 F100, going out to do it now.

    I have the same problem on my Scout, I really don't want to try to take the glass out to tighten it up so will give this a try, thanks!.
