Most people do not know that Mohammed Ali once lived in Nigeria. He lived in the city of Enugu in the southeast. I was a student of the University of Nigeria Nsukka, which had a campus in Enugu. Mohammed Ali lived in a family-owned hotel called the Zodiac hotels located in the serene Independence Layout Enugu. In the early through to the mid eightees, students would flock at the bar at Zodiac, hoping to see him. I was fortunate enough to see him once. He used to come into the country unannounced. Maybe he came on private jets.
World record holder, sprinter Lee Evans, also lived in Nigeria after his retirement. He was a track coach and consultant. He lived in Ibadan in Oyo state. He was running the sports academy founded by the legendary Segun Odegbami, the Green Eagles (Now called Super Eagles) right winger and once captain. Lee Evans was buried in Ibadan

Her categorisation can be accepted by majority of Nigerians. Your own categorisation can only b accepted by a few minority. How can you place Abbakiliki and Uyo above Enugu and Owerri?
For me, Owerri should take the place of Benin city. I had my tertiary education in Benin City for 5 years and i have also travelled to Owerri a couple of times, so i can tell that Owerri is more beautiful than Benin City. But one thing i found out in this clip is that she used several indices to arrive at her conclusion like historical importance of the city, tourist attractions, what the city is known for, strategic location, the reason why investors would want to invest in the city, natural resources and potentials of the city, etc. Overall, she did a good job.
