I really enjoyed this episode. My husband and I visited Alkmaar last year with a Dutch family member, so this brought back special memories. Thank you!🌷
I really love your vids! When you say : 'tastes good' or 'that's nice', as a spectator it is sincerely believable. Being Dutch I never knew Alkmaar to be that beautiful. Wow ! Like the attention you give for both monumental as small scale streets and architeture. Beautifully pictured . 🌹
Just Wow, i really appreciate like the way you captured this whole event this is just awesome i cant express it into words, you deserve alot, that cheese men was funny though😂Love from Pakistan❤
If you love cheese so much, young cheese I saw, then you have to try "graskaas". It is a seasonal cheese, made from the first milk cows give when they go outside in the spring and switch their diet from hay to actual grass, hence the name.
@@JanicasJourneys I think best buy at the farmers market. I do not know exactly when they market because need to produce and maybe ripe a bit as well. The taste is almost like real butter. Very light and creamy.
I'd love to go to the cheese market but I have to be honest, I cannot stand cheese, but fascinated by what goes on there, I once had cheese forced down my throat by a teacher at school, I didn't like it before, after that I hated the stuff but Alkmaar is somewhere we wanted to visit at the end of April whilst we were in Amsterdam but it just rained everyday. Maybe one year we'll get there
Nice material, it's a pity that the city and the police behave inappropriately towards foreigners (not immigrants). The City Management Board should resign!
I hope people do not go to this city . It looks like city officials and Police under Mayor are discriminating against foreign tourists and visitors . Single out one group of people and telling about this openly is a crime.
Well done Janica! Nice video! Thanks for sharing! Greetings from here...say cheese, say Alkmaar ;)
Thank you! 😃

I´m suprisied that your English accent sounds like a native Dutch person speaking English
I’ve managed to ”catch” a bit of an accent here 😅😂
