The way the guy handled the bear encounter was something else. I know his first instinct was to shoot...he resisted that impulse and took steps to deter the bear's approach. It worked....thankfully....but I know that he was ready to drop that bear if that approach failed.
what amazing wild boar 🐗.....and fantastic hunters/shooters 👌.....unfortunately wasn't part of the hunt.....but a total pleasure just to watch....Kitu.sethi. absolute pleasure viewing....thank's
6:41 So not only is Franz a skilled shooter, he's got a good sense of humor too lol.. Edit: 8:20 and apparently he's good at scaring away friggin bears as well, damn.
Of course the best part of any hunt with an upscale group like that is Olivia. Of course the cheese, caviar and wine had to have a table, guides, plates and silver ware. 9.3x62 bolt action: $2000-3500, my guess is none of the guns were less than $1000. Meat can be sold to the dirty peasants. Beretta 300 Win. Mag:$1069.99.
Hi, Looking to plan a driven wild boar hunt in Europe. Need some advice on the best lodges/outfitters. Basically looking for the same hunt you did in this video. Thanks!
Hunting with a Browning Maral is like going into War with an AK. Only using a knife and a bunch of Dogs to do some Pigging but you've got to be able to run like the wind.
Great video! These guys are excellent shots - knocking down these running boars! And the bear situation was exciting and handled well. If I wanted to shoot boars, I would do it just this way from some kind of a raised blind for two reasons: the first being that even when a perfect hit, they can still go a long way and FAST. The second is that their tusks are razor sharp. (I am a taxidermist and having taken a good look at them - they are scary!) Having said all of that, although this may be an exciting shooting experience, it's NOT hunting, in my opinion as the animals are not found, nor stalked by the shooter,, which I think the word "hunting" implies.
But some of the earliest hunting methods of humans were driven hunts, scaring animals with fire towards cliffs, for example! It is hunting because not every animal is shot but according to the setup factors by the game wardens which have determined which type and gender of animals had to be culled.
I'm looking for a muzzle break for my Sauer 100, it has the American 1/2x28 thread, anyone have an idea where I could get one that matches the barrel diameter?
Nice video, well done with the sow bear. I would have let the boar who tried to hide go without shooting...Just because. Sometimes a little give is appropriate. That poor fellow deserved to live another day.
Bravo Messieurs pour ces formidables tirs de sangliers ! Ps: Comment tirer un sanglier avec un m point rouge ? Merci pour l'info! ( belle chasse mais ou se trouve ces lieux si magnifiques?
I have a German friend who owns one. German law makes owning American made rifles expensive. The thing misfires every few shots. But he can only own 1 rifle. straight bolt is cool but not something I would hunt hogs on the ground with.
This video is so thrilling to watch! The hunters' skills are unmatched.

Those mountain wild boars must be good eatin'. In the U.S. they are fattened by eating too much crop which is not purely chemical free.
Good Luck
Very danger
Schwein muss der Mensch haben!! XD
In merca we do things a bit different. Semi auto, thermal, and suppressor. 🇺🇸 🐗
Agent 47 welcome.
Watching the video in 2020 hole didn't even pass when the bears appeared! This woman has a beautiful pull on the rifle!

Not a twinge of commercialism? Then why are they ALL wearing Aimpoint hats? Who's idea was that?
that was really good footage of that bear charge
Whats the name of the rifle in the thumbnail
Good you didn't kill the bear. Keep shooting wildbores for meat. They are many in numbers 👍
What are the gears you using
Quiz Merkel helix or blazer R8 or saure 404.
When the Bear turns they both shit themselves
These wild boars are wild or are they captive and released for the hunt?
They are wild boars living in the woods. The thing you describe is forbidden at least in Germany and in most part of Europe.
8:20 [Music] lol
Super
“I think I would have had him”
Super!
oh hello agent 47

Good sentiment, Paul Homsy, and I agree with you. That boar was extraordinary, and deserved to be spared - out of respect.
Bravo Messieurs pour ces formidables tirs de sangliers ! Ps: Comment tirer un sanglier avec un m point rouge ? Merci pour l'info! ( belle chasse mais ou se trouve ces lieux si magnifiques?

What brand of rifle is that with the beautiful wood stock?
If you are talking about the one shot by Franz-Albrecht, it is a Merkel Helix Custom in 7x64
they are all shooting Merkel Helix
I have a German friend who owns one. German law makes owning American made rifles expensive. The thing misfires every few shots. But he can only own 1 rifle. straight bolt is cool but not something I would hunt hogs on the ground with.
