The only thing he wanted to do was remove the stupid funnel on his head that protects his ears from getting an infection while he wanted to do was play. He was not in any pain whatsoever if done properly by a good vet they do not feel any pain under anesthesia. They look beautiful with cropped ears I’m sorry. That’s the look of the dog

@@dagodlypug2399 dogo is the way to go if you lead a active lifestyle. They're the perfect hiking partner our boy hikes with us 2 times a week and love being at the beach the river or outdoors in general. With smaller dogs they're great with proper socialization. If you're interested I have a few liters coming up.

I was able to take great care of him but definently drug me a couple of times in his younger years chasing things on walks😅 I can only imagine the Dogo’s power after experiencing my dog’s power

I think that will be great. Just be very consistent and have them socialize at a very young age. They are extremely smart dogs so have great training. We have a male and I've heard so many other owners stating females are alot more calmer and mellow. We're about to get a girl soon so we'll see if they are right. 👍🏼
How did you train him?? They are known to be “dangerous” dogs, even tho they are cool as heck, but like any dog breed like this they should be trained so what I am wondering is what you did to train him? I wanna get one but they aren’t good for novice owners 😔
From a puppy I set boundaries and rules and stuck to them consistently. Also a major major point of emphasis was socialization from a young age with strangers family members and other dogs. I would agree these dogs aren't good for first time owners but I believe if you put in the time and effort they are more than worth the time you put in.
Your best bet is to contact your breeder and see what they have been feeding your puppy. Then do your research and see which one suits you financial because some dog foods are more expensive then others. Then from there jusy transition him. We had a special diet for our boy because he has allergies to chicken. Hope that helped good luck 👌
You would have to look around in your area that does dog ear cropping. And then also decide which crop you like there is show crop, battle crop, short crop, etc.

A dogo should have full pigment on the nose along with black liner on the lips and some liner on the eyes. Lack of pigment can indicate deafness in the breed or dog. Has your dog been baer tested for deafness or partial deafness? Your beat bet in going in the sun for a bit everyday and see if the pigment kicks in
Any heavier and he would no longer be the perfect athlete. Proportion-wise, you have a perfect male dogo. PERFECT head! He is a beauty!
