Our family lived on a lake and had boats. Our 3 Boxers acted exactly the same and loved life. It’s sad that they only live for part of our lives. We will love them forever. Very attached, protective and loyal.

Too cute! My daughters dog went to the lake with us once. She was part lab and part retriever (I am not sure what kind of retriever). Such a sweet dog! When we got in the water she just had to come out to us but she acted like she did not want too touch the water! She kept jumping super high like she could out jump the water. It was too cute!

They do love water. When my brother and I were 8 and 10 we would tie a rope onto the collars of our male and female and swim way out in Lake Michigan. Then dad would cal the dogs back to shore and they would drag us back to land. They loved to do it and begged if we stopped doing it. Love my boxers.
At one point he was running so fast he looked like he was running across the top of the water! My girl is a lab and ANY time she sees water she immediately jumps in (except baths).
