I’m a diehard Wisconsin sports fan so totally anti bears Cubs bulls Illini but the Chicago guys are all awesome (besides WSD). But Eddie just plain rules, and is the perfect host for Dave because he’s extremely in tune with OG barstool and lets Dave shine.
i miss the old office, the old yp, nate vs. smitty, office manager brett fucking up, pres vs. liz on radio, mike the bike, the tex saga, and even francis. it all seemed so homemade and original. i feel nostalgic and even sad when looking back on those days as i feel that spark has been lost. what i mentioned before may have nothing to do with this video in particular, but yp and dave's current beef just put everything into perspective for me. god i miss those times.

So basically Dave inferred Erika lied about him feeling the same way as she did about YP. And the 4 year contract was based on not losing him if the show blew up because his contract was running out and YP had something big on the horizon with Rinella. I'm Team Portnoy all day but kind of shitty to lock a guy in for 4 years and publicly announce his job opening a week later lol

When you really think about it, YP was filming Stool Scenes, he was a cool dude and filmed cool content around the office. That alone gave him a majority of his followers. I believe Outdoor formed after he had gotten his name out there. Dave, which is Barstool gave him everything he needed to be successful. To stay successful you have to stay hungry. Dave, believes in grinding it out and putting that work in, last thing you can do is let off and expect to keep his respect.
There is so much shit you can do with outdoors stuff. Merch sales should be astronomical and since it’s COVID, you should be able to film stuff without any restrictions. Just learning the history of Barstool Sports as an aspiring outdoor content creator. I had never heard of Barstool Outdoors or YP before last week. This is the second video I've watched on the fallout so this is from my perspective. YP is a kid from Missouri who had a great opportunity, but little knowledge about business. YP: Extreme dis-ownership, defend, deflect, and make counter accusations. As a boss running a content company I understand Dave's call out and decision. It is a lot of drama, but that's what makes barstool, barstool.
He didn’t have to know anything about business to have a good outdoor show lol that’s literally not relevant at all. His real shortcomings that fucked him was his lack of work ethic, mental strength and creativity. Also he didn’t really have the personality to be a host of that kind of show, it worked with stool scenes because the episodes were about every one but him (and mostly followed the perspective at Dave) his little explanation intermissions were probably the least enjoyable parts of each episode, he came across as awkward and unfunny.

I originally thought Dave was a little harsh on YP, but I can definitely see where Dave is coming from. YP has disappeared and is barely putting any content or updates out there. YP got too big for his britches and had to be reeled back in and learn how to give credit to people that helped him along the way. YP needs to learn and understand how lucky he is to have the Barstool army without him and stop bringing up Steve Rinella and Meateater. Hate to see this, I love YP on Barstool Outdoors. He has like 2 seasons of content there and its good. I dont even like fishing and I watched every single one. You really can tell he enjoys it and it makes me enjoy it. Go check it out.
as some one who follows everything barstool, Barstool outdoors is the one thing I never see!! not because of my algorithm, there is literally nothing ever on there! YP hasn't done his job of promoting outdoors, I use to be team YP because he did work his ass off with stool scenes at HQ2. And Rinella is a huge grab but he hasn't adequately used the tools that barstool has provided! I think that's what it boils down to with Dave, he wants you to be successful but also wants you to utilize the tools that barstool can provide with anyone and anything!
Am I the only one who kinda feels YP. I know its hard to read him but an episode a month with the production quality he has says something. No one else is putting up that quality of videos and he definitely has the best chance of breaking into the mainstream with his content. The game works different

Just learning the history of Barstool Sports as an aspiring outdoor content creator. I had never heard of Barstool Outdoors or YP before last week. This is the second video I've watched on the fallout so this is from my perspective. YP is a kid from Missouri who had a great opportunity, but little knowledge about business. YP: Extreme dis-ownership, defend, deflect, and make counter accusations. As a boss running a content company I understand Dave's call out and decision. It is a lot of drama, but that's what makes barstool, barstool.
Turns out you and dave made a mistake. Yp was much better than the current manager of barstool outdoors.
He didn’t have to know anything about business to have a good outdoor show lol that’s literally not relevant at all. His real shortcomings that fucked him was his lack of work ethic, mental strength and creativity.
Also he didn’t really have the personality to be a host of that kind of show, it worked with stool scenes because the episodes were about every one but him (and mostly followed the perspective at Dave) his little explanation intermissions were probably the least enjoyable parts of each episode, he came across as awkward and unfunny.

That shit happens in every industry, you set people up and give them the open lane and they forget the shit they didn't have to go through. That guy is entitled and forgets to stay in his lane. He seems like he really loves Barstool and Dave but he needs to execute his business dealings better. Sometimes you don't need to post a vlog about your business dealings.

I originally thought Dave was a little harsh on YP, but I can definitely see where Dave is coming from. YP has disappeared and is barely putting any content or updates out there. YP got too big for his britches and had to be reeled back in and learn how to give credit to people that helped him along the way. Just because YP was there from the beginning with Barstool Outdoors doesn't mean someone can't do it better than YP. YP needs to learn and understand how lucky he is to have the Barstool army without him and stop bringing up Steve Rinella and Meateater. Just because you latched on to Rinella's coattails doesn't mean you're as big or talented as Rinella. Grow up, do better and work harder YP because you aren't as talented, entertaining and gifted as you think.

as some one who follows everything barstool, Barstool outdoors is the one thing I never see!! not because of my algorithm, there is literally nothing ever on there! YP hasn't done his job of promoting outdoors, I use to be team YP because he did work his ass off with stool scenes at HQ2. And Rinella is a huge grab but he hasn't adequately used the tools that barstool has provided! I think that's what it boils down to with Dave, he wants you to be successful but also wants you to utilize the tools that barstool can provide with anyone and anything!
