As a Turkish i have only one warning to tourists. Its taxi drivers and some local stores which sales fake bags etc. they usually put misleading labels on stuff or taxi drivers(in istanbul) gonna say its 300$ but its actually 300 Turkish liras. Other than that u ll enjoy our country ❤
Lovely but have no cluie about prices. This guy presented him a coin from 1956. It's so rare, because of the inflation. He explained him and showed him a 10.000 Lira Note, 100.000 Lira Note, and the 10 Lira Note. You can imagine that the 10 Lira Note maybe last used in the 1970's. there is no value that can be measured and above all you can't say that he was ripped off. The value is in the eye of the beholder

Not seen one of your vids for a while Dale, but being a food lover this was great. The young couple who showed you around were great ambassadors for Turkey.
Dude has done more for promoting Turkish tourism than the Ministry of Tourism itself 😅. Also you could tell how good of a guy he was (the dude)-he seemed a bit shy, probably because he wasn’t too confident in his English. But the fact that he offered to switch jackets and always represented you positively and helpfully in Turkish (im from Türkiye and understand the conversations) conversations showed that he’s truly kind-hearted, just a little hesitant when speaking English. 😊 By the way the best places to visit in Türkiye is by far Cappadocia (absulute natural miracle and has some interesting and delicious cousine like kebab inside pot…) and also pamukkale. You can check those out and take a look at their pictures if you are interested. ❤

Karmak is nothing but " malai" in india...you have to let it settle overnight in a cool place to form a thick fat layer. Also when you boil the milk it has to be poured to create this frothy bubbly layer and then let it cool. It is the most amazing yummy accompaniment for homemade rose jam ...

He was fast to intervene and defuse. He comes across as kind-hearted and mellow, but in that moment he snapped cold and did not tolerate that bs. Really appreciate that. Turks are up on their feet and working due to more factory jobs and physical jobs, and there’s less social welfare benefits, so almost everybody is forced to work. A lot of Americans take advantage of welfare and stay at home. Also Americans eat a lot of junk food.

info from a turk... so the thing with sauces is that mostly turkish people dont like sauces because we believe that a good product speaks for itself and doesnt need sauces and therefore its mostly considered not only untraditional but also scammy as we believe that only people who want to cover up the bad ingredients use sauces... thats pretty much it.... also for the lahmacun... you put the greens inside your lahmacun.... dribble the lemon onto the greens and than roll it like a durum... thats the way to eat lahmacun. :)

Yes and Turkish food is super tasty compared to Mcdonalds which is actually old stale food. In the West people have been brainwashed by the food industry
it’s because people have high work ethic and there always on their feet. also people almost always eat handmade food from home which is healthier than fast food
Turkish cities are people centric and very walkable plus great food. If you want obese people go to car slave countries like USA

@@Commendatori Not true. Americans usually work from home or in the office so sit around all day. almost all of them have cars whereas turks walk or use the bus, though they still have cars. Turks are up on their feet and working due to more factory jobs and physical jobs, and there’s less social welfare benefits, so almost everybody is forced to work. A lot of Americans take advantage of welfare and stay at home. Also Americans eat a lot of junk food.

info from a turk... so the thing with sauces is that mostly turkish people dont like sauces because we believe that a good product speaks for itself and doesnt need sauces and therefore its mostly considered not only untraditional but also scammy as we believe that only people who want to cover up the bad ingredients use sauces... thats pretty much it....
also for the lahmacun... you put the greens inside your lahmacun.... dribble the lemon onto the greens and than roll it like a durum... thats the way to eat lahmacun. :)
