- Wode Maya showed this place in a way that I too wanted to experience. I was not disappointed. When you plan a trip to Masvingo to visit the Great Zimbabwe monuments, stay at the Lodge at Ancient City. It is so worth it. It is really close to the monuments , making the lodge a perfect location.
