I went to check out a remote park in Saitama with a long rose tunnel. It was far out among rice fields, and even from the closest bus stop, it took a 25-minute walk. It was extremely dark because there were almost no lights around. Surprisingly, it was noisy with the sounds of frogs in the rice fields. As it was dark the image in some moments got noisy even with Sony FX3, so I tried new Davinci Resole 19 UltaNR noise reduction.

I love your Saitama videos, specially the ones at night. they are super nostalgic for a place I used to go as a child, but weirdly I went back there last month and it wasn't at all nostalgic like these videos lol

It would be fun if you and John Daub of Only in Japan each filmed a path-crossing video where you wave to his camera as you walk by, and he waves back in your video. So many of us watch both channels about Japan. I sent this same message to John.
It is the time of rice planting, and the frogs are chirping from the flooded rice fields. You were lucky not to fall into the irrigation canal in the dark. The neighborhood kids enjoy fishing there for tanago(bitterling).
At the end of the walk, Ponpoko-ya, located by the Arakawa Cycling Road, serves a very tasty dish of udon noodles with cold soup called "suttate," a specialty of Kawajima-machi.

I needed help with this one, so Thanks to the person who located the bus stop. The Soyokaze Dental Clinic signage really threw me off. Ram starts out on Highway 12 and immediately makes his way north. Eventually, he passes under the toll road and goes westward to the Heisei no Mori Kawashima Hospital. I was way off here, I thought he was at the Saitama Citizens' Medical Centre. The rose walk he was so determined to find is, of course at Kawajima Heisei no Mori Park just behind the hospital on the west side. I don't remember how he did it, but he managed to get back to the Arakawa River, and stumbled back to Highway 12 for the night bus.
The mighty Arakawa. My favorite river in Japan. (Well I lived next to it for years haha.)
@@oisoyboy Rambalac seems to gravitate toward it. I wonder if it has special meaning to Rambo. Or maybe it just happens to always be there in a Saitama, Hinohara or Hachioji video.

Why not offer free informal "seminars" to aspiring young women who desire to improve their videographer skills? Take them out on short treks and show/explain to them your methods. Afterwards, critique their work and treat them to udon noodles and sake!
Alternatively, with your skill set, you could offer coding instruction to female students who are trying to break into the male dominated IT job sector!
