I'm not gonna lie for someone like me this headset is amazing! I have both consoles and I have the Pulse headset. Xbox's new headset blows the Pluse 3d away. Not that I don't like the Pluse I do but it's definitely better and has better bass. If you're someone who has like the A50s then obviously it's not going to compare but between all the features and the audio quality it's definitely worth picking up! I've also heard people complain about the Mic but come on unless your a streamer and that matters to you the mic works great and if you have a significant other who enjoys watching something on their tablet or phone in the same room as you game, the auto mute works pleasantly well. Last night I was gaming with my brother and there was a tablet playing fairly loud maybe 4ft behind me. It was definitely not quiet and Noone I was gaming with could hear it. I did go into settings and set the auto mute to high so take that into account, I didn't actually test the low mid and high threshold. But even then if someone's having trouble try fixing the mics threshold (I didn't have to).

This headset competes with the $200 Steel Series Arctis 9X. One of a few advantages to the Xbox headset, is that I can update them directly through the console and tweak the sound to my taste. Steel Series, however, requires you to turn on your computer and update them that way.
Lets be honest the best part of this headset is being able to connect to your Xbox and another device. I bought this because I play on Xbox with a lot of people who play on PC. I use discord on my phone and this is a game changer.
I am having an issue on day 2. First day no problem, setting it up and pairing with both Xbox and Win10-PC. On day two it just has the red/orange pulsating light, and when I press the power button it dies. When I try to charge it the white light flicks on, but if I press the green power button it shuts off. If I try, what I believe is a hard reset, pressing mic-button and power button nothing happens. It's frustrating. Any with the same issue? What's the fix?
The dual connection feature is great for non PC gamers like me. I can have the sound connected to my Xbox As well as my laptop so I continue to use discord with friends.
Not all first party accessories are this good. I have both the pulse 3D and this one and the pulse is far inferior to the Xbox headset. That thing still comes with a dongle that has bad connection if I hook it up to the rear usb on my ps5.
It’s a good headset but when I’m playing with other they literally can’t hear me which I don’t understand why ... && on the pulse headset they can hear me clearly ... I don’t get why

I still cant find a fix for it, so Im getting the wireless adapter for windows 10 pc and hoping that will work out better. This is only happening when I connect with bluetooth to my pc.
I had issues like that as well, turns out my motherboard use the wifi antenna to increase the strength of the Bluetooth module. And since I'm using a wire to connect to internet I never used it until I saw the fix on Reddit. Now it works perfectly with the antenna installed
@@SuperCheesyMan OMG... I have a similar board that has a wifi antenna which I dont use either since Im on LAN. I just checked the manual to my mobo and you are right!!! Its not just for wifi signal but it boosts the bluetooth signal as well.... I just tested and it works now!! Thanks for that tip man!! I appreciate it! This is a solid headset now, especially for the $100 price.
For me Cloud2, Xbox is not bad but you have to "tune" sound over EQ, Clouds never need to set anything, you just use them. If you not set EQ in Atmos and in xbox app, sound from Xbox HS in default is bad. If you "fix" it by settings, it's fine but some times you still to take "less here and more there"
Yes. I have the headphones. They are pretty great. The only thing that is a gimmick is the bass boost. As soon as you turn it on. It is just too intense.
@@VColossalV do you have a pair? I got mine on Tuesday and I can agree, the base boost is a unnecessary feature. Out the box they are already very boomy, the bass boost feature just makes them boomy to the point it’s vibrating off your head. Other than that they are great headphones, best pair I’ve owned so far.
I really wish you could use wireless ear buds without going through your phone or any of that mess. I just want my chat to come in one ear and I don't like the chat and game audio coming from the same source. Anyone have any suggestions?
I have Gen 3 and 4 Astro A50s (Great, But no Bluetooth is a massive let down, Plus randomly my 2 sets cut sound when I change apps or menus o take headphones off id say 40%. So annoying. hey cost me $500au I did use Astros for just about everything. movies music games and so on I have Arctis Steelseries wired for my Switch $150au I have Pulse 3d Headset for PS5 pretty good for price $150au I just got Xbox Official headset they are really sick! Working so good. sounds great after audio tweak $150au
Not quite as good in terms of audio quality. (Detail) but the Xbox headset doesn’t have nearly as many dropouts or audio distortions so I’d say this one is at least more reliable
I'm sorry, but BT 4.2 in 2021 and 20hz to 20Khz (while there are headphones that have as low as 10Hz and up to 40Khz) range? When we already have BT 5 with aptX support?... for 99$, naha, no thanks!
That still wont fix problem with random kids in lobies that just shout back and forth with their mom or siblings xd just put a mute button on headset cuz every time i say mute yourself they say they cant xD

We need to spread the word that this product is very faulty. The unthinkable happened WAAY to soon. Battery died and I mean died after 3 uses. Charged once and used for no less than 8 hrs total. Now seeing a lot of review out in the wild about this exact problem. Microsoft failed on the battery which is one of the most important component for headsets. I love all the features but something went wrong with manufacturing of this product. Figured it out. You will have to do a hard reset. Pressing both mute and power buttons together then immediately plugging it to power. Have the USB C side already plugged in.
@@lemonke1709 it's in the wild as a issue for a very few I suppose. I only saw a small group write about the same issue in reviews on Best Buy. Microsoft/xbox even has the (reset) fix on its page if you happen to have that problem.
I have that headset and it sounds alright. Not as good as my Turtle Beach Stealth 700 gen 2. This headset is a good backup when your main headset is charging. also the microphone sounds like I'm talking through a trash can on Discord through Bluetooth according to some people.
I got those turtle beaches and the build quality on it is pure garbage. My shit broke in January, barely lasted me 3 months. Sound quality is meh for the price too

The bass is intense, fooling around the EQ settings, i found that sweetspot for the bass, not too intense, not too weak, just right.
