Great. Do you know about contactors. U can use it to protect your timer switch because big water pumps consume a lot of current especially when they are starting
Thank you for posting this. I just bought this timer. The diagram wasn't making sense! I've been wiring controls and relays for 45 years and their diagram had me scratching my head. Maybe I ran out of skill? lol It didn't make sense that both terminals from the breaker PLUS a neutral wire went to the timer. Programming was pretty straight forward.

@@mykitvideos5937 Well, it turns out the timer is still good: I wasn't getting enough voltage from the solar panel/battery!! i didn't notice this right away, as the timer has an internal battery, so the display was still on, and I mistakenly thought that meant it was still being powered!. So, it's all back working again after I changed out the solar panel. I am using the timer to open and close a chicken coop door automatically,. It has worked fine and unattended for almost two years already. Cheers!
I have programmed it on a boiler to start at 4:40 and to stop at 5:15 in the morning from monday to friday. Should I let the programmer to ON AUTO to start and stop at the specific hours?
I would like to see if this would work on a 220 vac washer? The original mechanical timer is obsolete. This would have to work in conjunction with a coin slide.

I have just ordered a couple of these timers from China, but I had been under the impression there is an internal battery that ensures the timing function continues uninterrupted in the event of power outages. I reside in an area with frequent power outages, so that backup battery is EXTREMELY important for my application. Can anyone offer some clarification about the battery backup function in this brand of digital timer ?
The battery in the timer is just to help u save your settings in times of power outage. The battery is rechargeable so it charges itself anytime there is electricity power connected to it. The battery in the timer can stay on for months without charging

Since power outages are a fact of life where I live, I wanted to be sure that I would not need to re-program my time settings on every occasion when there was a power outage. This timer is ideal for my application of lights that will go on and off at the same pre-set times every day of the week.
@@mykitvideos5937 I will be using the timer to trigger lights at specific times daily, with a separate timer to actuate relays that release fish feed for a few minutes at a time, several times daily, so reading your confirmation that power outages do not erase programmed settings, is very good news for sure.

This device works according to time. It cannot respond to coins
