This episode is the best one so far in my opinion. All of them are great but this one truly kept me reminding a couple of times just to digest what has been said.
It’s not the first time I hear you talk about step father, however I always shed a tear when you talk about him. I’m just happy for you I grew up with both my parents in the same house & will not shy away to say house not home.
Proud of mr Sello. We shared a room wit his younger brother.Guy Make.we were studying fashion designing.he used to come wit groucery fo us. Most of his traditional shirts are dsigned by Guy.
Violence was everywhere when we were growing up, ubethwa eskolweni, ubethwa eNext door or by any elder estratweni and then nasekhaya, respect wasn't earned it was taken, hence this just got out of hand, when you feel disrespected you turn to violence. We need new ways of dealing with this kind of issue
We suffered when we were young. They beat you at school, you try to report that at home and you get beaten because they beat you at school. We had nowhere to run when we had issues and just suffer inside.
Honestly where we grew up as children and " ho shapa" was the way to discipline, to sort out things or show out anger, made people to believe thats how issues are solved. I dont believe its about being jealousy or insecurities. This is about culture that has to be cancelled.
I didn't plan to clap my ex husband each time i found out thst he was cheating, it just happened and today im dealing with it, im dealing with knowing that ho shapa motho o mong is not the way to solve issues or to show your anger. Going forward ke sheba motho fela and smile..
What an intelligent conversation! Sello understands the depth and multifaceted nature of gender based violence. And he's right, until we are willing to have real and honest conversations about it, we're far from winning the battle. Interesting that you have considered going into politics. If you happen to read this comment, I'm curious about what your thoughts are regarding Ngugi wa Thiongo's argument regarding art and politics in his book, "Penpoints, Gunpoints, and Dreams." And Augusto Boal"s understanding of representation both in theatre and politics. Truly enjoyed the conversation. And I agree acting is a metaphor for life!😊
Mr I am what I am because of that man who gave a surname Klaas Adrian Nkome I love that you tell the truth am called Nkome because of my stap father I love Mr for your truth ❤❤❤❤❤
So basically Sello doesn't want someone who has the past hang ups but yena he has lots of past hang ups, wow. I really like him but I don't like his statement. He want someone younger so that he can stress her with his past
As a person who found out that the man who raised me was not my biological father at 13, i am with him on paternity testing being compulsory. Its the most life changing thing ive ever experienced in my life.
I dare revolutionaries to be as ruthless, opportunistic and self interested as the “west”. All that Floyd is saying may be true, however, you lose nothing by working with, and being friendly with everyone. Small economy, small population, it would make sense to base your relationships on what best serves your interests at any given time. Wasn’t that the point of straddling a mid-line, to extract maximum benefit from everyone?
@@katstix6572Indeed it's a contract hence why you need a court to end it and issue proof that it has indeed ended! Also ppl fight for assets, money etc and NOT memories.
I think you didn't go too deep with him an he was willing to open up about everything e.g did he abuse any of the babymamas and is that why they refused him the children?
In Kenya we watched him in Generations on KBC. I am enjoying this from Nairobi Kenya.
We love Kenya and Kenyans in South africa❤❤

Wow, very interesting. If I may ask, was the divorce because the cheating continued or the beating?
@@MissCombs1511 , both. He filed for divorce and stated that it is because of domestic violence from me.
@@pulengphatedi8153 yoh thanks Aus Puleng... he has been speaking of changing like the last time he hit anyone was 40 years ago.

Also how bad was the abuse an the political situation, I think you could have asked him his views on mk party, eff an etc
Activist where kutwa he is been violent with his ex enje. Is he trying to be at the forefront of these news breaking out.
Damn, the procreation topic really hit a nerve.
Sello is doing damage control but deep down he's a bitter man, only if he could turn back the hands of time.
