Been following you for four years now as I am Edinburgh raised myself, so have loved to see local content about the city. I must say (I’m only 15) but in the years of memories from this place, most fond do I think of my trips to East Lothian. Whether that be my primary school leavers party on Yellowcraigs, a Fringe By The Sea concert with my pals in North Berwick, playing golf for the first time at Dunbar, seeing the Concorde at the Flight Museum, parties at Archerfield, trying a bostock cruffin during covid, chippie pitstop on the drive home or way too many times to count going to Foxlake. It’s all coming back to me and im pure gushing in this comment section. Not in Edi currently but I miss it so much. Take me home ❤
So funny I didn’t complete my comment but hit the send button 😅 i was just about to say still thinking of visiting Edinburgh with all of your great ideas of places and restaurants to visit I’m sure that we would have an enjoyable time 🎉i just love your outgoing and fun energy ❤❤
How about around Kinross? Plenty of eats in the town, Heaven Scent in Milnathort (lovely cafe/people), and Loch Leven's Larder 10mins away. Loch Leven, RSPB, castle/history, scenery, blah, blah.
Hi Kat much thanks for your kind response. Since this would be the first time visiting Edinburg we would definitely be checking out the Royal mile and keeping in mind the list of fun places that you made a video off the cosy tea rooms and cafes for lunches. Where do you suggest we should visit not having to travel too far off from the city. Thank you
Fidra island ,just of Yellowcraigs beach ,was the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson’s famous book Treasure Island . The Stevenson family were famous lighthouse builders.
Well, that was an eye-opener. What a beautiful place and only a stone"s throw from Edinburgh. The unspoilt, largely empty beaches reminded me of Northumberland. Must be very dramatic when the weather is fithy.
I’ve only been to Northumberland very briefly but I think you’re right! Must be that East Coast vibe ✨ we’re looking into a north east England trip this year so hopefully will have more insight by the end of 2024 .)
I’m born and bred Edinburgh but I lived in North Berwick for 9 years. I love East Lothian and have many happy memories of the area. ❤️ Thank you for sharing. 😊🌻 And Kat… “Doggie watching?!” 🤣😂
Your laugh at the end while eating the chips is so cute, made me laugh out loud! Planning my trip to Edinburgh next spring and I’ve been bingeing all the videos I can… I appreciate your videos as they are so helpful, fun, and super well put together! Thank you!!
Loved this video Kat!! Such amazing landscape!! I just love it so much and can’t wait to visit!! Thank you for all these tips❤️ Videos of day trips from Edinburgh are very useful!!
Sea Cliffe Beach just outside Noth Berwick just past Tantallon castle is absolutely stunning, views out to the Bass Rock and Tantallon castle, little harbour, surrounded by trees, Its like the Carabean.
Thanks for this. I remember going to Tantallon Castle with my family when we lived in Edinburgh. You have probably featured Tantallon and other videos…?
How long you been in Edinburgh? Got to be salt and sauce (brown) :-) Edinburgh and fifers. Here’s a challenge. Find out the origins of red pudding supper in Edinburgh and fife. Anyway love the content. From an Edinburgh lad living in California
A bit of a random question maybe, but do you have any recomendations for podcasts, audiobooks or radio shows where the host/voice actor has a Scottish accent? I want to get used to the accent before I move there and I have a bit of a hard time finding what to listen to 😊 I love your videos, keep up the good work💛
Is there a business in Edinburgh that you can hire to teach tourists in particular to drive safely in Scotland? One that preferably has a crash course?

We love Scotland ... greetings from Bulgaria!
Yesss! Finally day trips accessible by public transport are here 😊
This was awesome! Really looking forward to more of these 🥺
Glad you liked it! I’d also recommend taking a bus to Haddington - a really lovely small town on the way towards North Berwick! .)
Awesome! Will check it out soon 😀
Thanks Alandas for some of the best fish and chips we've had in a very long time ❤
That fish and chips looked SOOOO GOOD!!

I live in East Lothian I really like it close to Edinburgh and the coast - not so busy , but now it is booming with houses being built everywhere

Alandas fish and chips are brilliant, had them many times.

East Lothian represent!
I was waiting for an actual view at the end so so much :D
I thought the video was beautifully filmed. Amazing shots and breathtaking views. Really enjoyed watching this video!
That's so lovely to hear .) glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the video! Scotland is so beautiful year round! When in the UK, chips must be dipped in curry sauce or malt vinegar imho.
One of these days I will fight my Central European urges and go for curry sauce too!!
A good tartar sauce is always the best with fish & chips
Love this selection. Not a bit of the country I've often been to, but now plenty of places I want to visit. Thanks.
This fish and chips look amazing out in the cold!
I love East Lothian, so much to see and do!

I'm iranina and I will plan visit and live in Edinburgh, tnks for good and nice video
I love East Lothian
If you can make it to Tyninghame beach, it's probably the nicest most unspoilt beach in E Lothian, great vid as always!
I'll put it on my list! .) Thanks!
