I saw this production in the Geneva opera! It was such a privilege to listen to Saioa. Perfect voice and interpretation! Powerful high notes and dramatic colorful low notes… Brava! You made the night for all of us!
what an absolutely marvelous Abigaille ...................... good Nabuco too , but ,,,, Abigaille is more difficult , it's been a while since I saw a soprano to be able to really sing this role , it's impossible ,,,,,,,,,,Mrs. Hernandez technique is a marvel ,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Saioa is fantastic as Abigail. And the baritone was very adequate. Our Saioa is currently singing Turandot in Madrid. Then on to Medea. Our Saioa is very unique & iconic as she forges forward conquering the most difficult dramatic repertoire in Opera. She is a true marvel. TOI TOI TOI on to your next exciting roles. Podrán vestir el Nabucco de 1000 formas, y en las 1000 Saioa clava el papel vocalmente, y eso tiene mucho mérito. Fue un deleite escuchar el debut en Turandot y espero que el público pueda disfrutar de una actriz-cantante tan talentosa durante muchos años 😎😎
Saioa is absolutely incredible live. However, I have to say that I am quite disappointed with the poor staging. It seems that today’s opera directors have little understanding of the music. It’s as if they don’t even bother to read the libretto and instead throw out random ideas. It’s such a shame because Saioa is such a remarkable talent, and she deserves an equally great production. I tried to focus on her voice and stage presence, but the staging really plays a significant role in the overall experience. A solid production can make everything much more exciting and believable. Productions like these are the reason why I go to the opera so rarely.
