@@bengal4047 there's a very hard optional bonus area in the witness called the challenge. when you start it, those two songs play (first anitra's dance, then in the hall of the mountain king), and you have until they end to finish it (as in, a time limit).

PERFECT use of Hall of the Mountain King for the implication of what was to come
Those two specific songs coming one after another is a reference to The Witness as well: there's a challenge in the game where you have to solve a sequence of randomly generated puzzles before the music ends, and the PTSD from that definitely warrants the character's reaction at the end of the video.

No, no the laser receiver wasn't active. Activating the one at the end turns the previous one on, then it takes the laser, you can see it.

@@AntaresSQ01 Depends what you mean by completed, because there's a new section after you complete it once, which is a lot harder. So depending on whether you did that or not, you can call that NG+.

And the fact that in looking up 'anitra's dance' i found out that it and 'in the hall of the mountain king' were two movements written for the same play and later extracted and put one after another in a suite makes me want to excitedly rant at someone about how cool that is while shaking them

@@LucyPero "the challenge" in the caves uses the same music to indicate how much time you have left. it's technically an optional part of the game but you can't collect all film codes without it, and the caves themselves have secret audio recordings. i recommend going back and trying to beat it... it is, indeed, a challenge. the music still stresses me out!

I think it definitely takes some level of restraint when emoting through the camera like that. It's easy to make it too over the top, but this whole video felt like a genuine reaction even thought you setup the whole thing. A+, one of my favorite Portal videos.
