Great side-by-side. I don't have MR, but Meharees did receive more compliments than any other fragrance has received during a daily wear. Beating out such frags as Armani Prive Rose d'Arabie, PdM Herod, Chanel Coromandel, BDC EDP, Carolina Herrera Mystery Tobacco and many others
Great video Pep.I have Meharees and I enjoy it.I would love to see you compare Dolcelisir to Ambre Narguile.Oajan is often compared to AN and it's good in it's own right but I think Dolcelisir is closer and a bargain just like Meharees.

Trayone Young Meharees is the only one i have tried from this house. Ginepro Nero gets good praise but i have not looked in to Indaco. Thanks for letting me know.
First of all, you have made a great video, I like your spontaneous elegance. As an Italian girl, I'm very happy to see such an enthusiastic review about L'Erbolario Lodi products! I agree with you, Meharees wasn't meant to be a Musc Ravageur's clone, it's a similar fragrance though. Best wishes 🌺
I have got Meharis , do not have have never smelt MR...but really am not impressed by Meharis for sure , intense cloves, a bit boring, really nothing special.Just IMHO....
Your assessment confirms the conclusion that the FragranceBro came up with. They said dollar-for- value, Meharees was the better scent. Lerbolario took all the best parts of Ravageur and left out what some people would consider animalistic.
Not sure i am, because they are slightly different and I preferred how the Meharees smelled on me. I am also not sure if Musc Ravageur came out first in this case. So to answer the questions about buying dupes for everything, i wouldn't unless that version was a better scent than the original. In my experience, the majority never are.

@@TheScentinel They aren't super easy to come by in the States either. There is one retailer in Florida that carries them, and then I see some on eBay. But yes, the next I'm in Europe I want to go to one of their boutiques!
I have Remy latour black oud. A couple said it was "similar" to these 2. Of course, I know the quality is greater with these two. I will sample this for sure.

After checking many videos on youtube, back then all were comparing the AQUA DI PROFUMO to MUSK RAVAGEUR not sure about the PROFUMO how does it smell... I also don't know if there is a difference between them...i believe we are talking EDT/EDP here... Hope someone tried both and can share his thoughts... Yes Meharees exists as EDT AND EDP
Hm... I think you must be a fortunate owner of older formulation of MR. I got my sample yesterday and although I ❤️ the scent it does not last nor project as much as I would like it too 😢
I don't subscribe to these types of rules. If you like something wear it with whatever you are comfortanle with. Key is feeling comfortable, otherwise you are limiting yourself.
@@hocineted7594 MR is date fragrance, if you plan on ravishing a woman/man. It's not overpowering and doesn't carry far, but has longevity, and comes into it's own when you're close to someone's skin.
Well, you gave us a very important and honest comparison. But, giving my 2 cents, I think that the “challenging” opening is part of the whole Musc Ravageur experience. The L’Erbolario gives us a chance to have a taste or an emulation of that experience. As that’s it. All in all it does not have its own life and, in fact, it was born as a clone and a clone is all that it will be. I have both in my wardrobe and use both very frequently. Meharees even more frequently tbh. It’s like the pretty girlfriend you introduce to your parents. But the hot filthy one is all you can think about.

Why not just buy dupes of everything then? Essentially you are making that case. Not saying you're wrong....I have several awesome dupes.

I cant remember what MR performance was like. Meharees 8 hours on me, maybe projection is softer.
