Dabbling with hand building and extruding and find this helpful. Instead of using cling wrap I will give this a try with both olive oil and WD-40 with the hope olive oil works, as I don't care for the feel or smell of WD-40. I will be checking out our local thrift shop for shallow serving dishes and will turn their slumps in to clocks, all being well. I have a 3D printer which works out really well for making dies and stamps for pottery as well as other household items that may need replacing. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Freddie, Hope the olive oil works for you. We have a cnc machine we use to cut dies for stamping. I hope it works for you. I’d love to see your clocks and what else you do. Sue
@@salvaterrapottery I have a friend who built 2 CNC machines. He cut out a nice bat system of PVC to fit my Shimpo Aspire. Too much fun. Including a wee video of my DDD printing and a few pots.: th-cam.com/video/pGm4t4sgDB0/w-d-xo.html

Have you found that the WD40 affects recycled clay?
