Captain America can run faster if you hold the block button while sprinting, just a quick tip for some Captain America players.
only issue is doing that uses his bar of power and that’s a vital thing to have if you’re running from enemies since he needs to block attacks

Thor is a literal god. I’m glad they didn’t hold back in this game for him. On the other hand they really need to show some love for Hulk

The greatest aspect of this game, all other opinions and facts aside, is the characters. I love how everyone’s tier list is different, and no matter the order of each list, everyone agrees that to an extent, every character is fun, well balanced, and plays an interesting support role. Once the bugs get fixed and the content starts to pump out, this game will only get better

Tbh i think its a glitch coz u need to open them wiv charged heavy attacks and all characters have them, just think its glitchd for some characters
Like he said hulk isn’t really hulk for the first 20-30 levels but once you got your melee damage going up like crazy and the health is around 5-6 bars long you truly start to feel like a big mean green destruction machine

Actually, in the comics Black Widow is enhanced with Russia's version of the super soldier serum Captain America has.

Haha yeah. It would make me mad if I was her and the Avengers were a real thing and then A Day happened and made tons of random people get super powers. I'd be like GODDAMNIT CAN I AT LEAST GET A AN IRON MAN SUIT OR SOMETHING?! lol. It's quite silly seeing her in the movies especially fighting invading armies with a pistol and a baton.
I was freaking when I first played her because of how cool she was by surprise it caught me completely off guard I was certain I wasn’t gonna level her up

For me personally Cap is number 1, everything he does just feels so fluid and powerful and satisfying. I agree that his traversal and open world usage is basically worthless, hope that gets patched. Also anyone else getting a glitch where you can’t switch out your second minor artifact? Even if I hold down equip best gear it doesn’t change, really annoying
Cap is my main too. I feel the same when Im playing with him... it's a beast. But, we can't break walls or jump high enought it's is a pain.
I was impressed how good Cap felt. I really enjoyed playing with him plus I love how he lands his double jump just like in the 1st Avengers movie when he jumps on top of the car cop and the Chitauri blast it.

Cap is easily my Number one for combat in this game. His kit feels complete and has tools to deal with just about any situation from reflecting turret fire, blocking (talented) unblockable attacks, and I can clear a room from ranged quickly.
Iron man uses energy for his heavy attack, not fun running out of energy trying to make a ranged build.
Black widow feels so good because she plays like a someone with powers. She feels more like Miles Morales Spider man. Zip line swinging, zapping and going invisible and she’s faster and more agile than a Super Soldier.
I love Iron Man but personally his combat is too tied to his intrinsic. I think his repulsors shouldn't be tied to it. It would open the ability for him to do heavy attacks at the same rate the other heroes can do.
I mean, Ms. Marvel is about to get her own live action TV series...
Considering everything he is right tho. These other characters are iconic. They been around for many many years and in general she is a never Character. Not only in the mcu but also in the comics
Hulk needs a buff. Either more default health, increased damage reduction or the ability to auto regenerate health. A charged jump would be great.
He heals with each of it super also can get have a double special to heal. Also his abilities heal with each punch. Then there is legendaries that extend the healing power. Also he is very powerful specially when he uses enemy's and big rocks as weapons. The only other character that feels as strong a hulk is cap but he mostly can't heal. It is hard very hard to die with hulk when fully leveled up due to all his healing he does.
The regenerating health is a great idea for hulk, he should also deal more damage when low on health to encourage more accurate health raging rather than running from fights.
Just hold the trigger and wale on people once it's upgraded fully he gets health constantly

When fully upgraded hulk is a beast and the does more damage if u have ur rage meter filled up and u activate it constant heal plus more damage u even can over charge it then he goes even more crazy with more damage more resistance and heal. Hulk is great. Hulk is the one u go in to a fight and snash everything. And if u want even more damage u just hold its range attack he then takes a big rock not a small one I mean a big one and does even more damage with it beating on ppl. Also u can grap enemy's and use them as weapons for more damage. There is even legendaries that boost his healing and give him constant healing while hitting things. So no running u just smash everything and heal and do damage. When fully upgraded dying with hulk is very very very hard.
Iron-man is definitely my main right now, he’s literally a TANK when you upgrade him, he shoots blasters, lasers, rockets, fast traveling, smooth combat, etc.. i just find him really fun to use tbh.
Am I the only one getting annoyed by flying with Thor and Iron Man? It's great for travel, no doubt. But in all other situations I just end up hovering a lot, not being able to use my ground abilities. I wish they made activating flight a little bit harder to do.
I don't have an issue with flying and iron man and thor don't have ground specific abilities thats if you're talking about the heroic abilities
Use iron mans lasers while orbiting the battle they auto lock
Just don’t jump evade or use energy parry i was always jumpin once you get the hang of that u will be on ground more but air combat is good because u can attack and dodge a lot more
Having issues getting on the ground during a battle with Thor and Iron Man. Like the descend button won't work right 😭
I had the same feeling in the beginning, but after playing iron man a few hours I now have good control of it. It still feels clunky sometimes though. You can slowly decent by holding down your dodge button or go straight back to the ground by double tapping the jump button. also iron man and thor both get signature attacks to crash down on the ground.
the only annoying thing for me is that you cant set the fast flying to hold. its always toggle...
Hint: if your not going to make a jump, after you double jump hold down your shield throw and let go to float in the air for a bit
I think they need to patch the game where every single character can hack and every character can do a heavy attack that breaks the doors. If they don't they should at least gives you the option to command your AI opponents

I main Iron man since he can hack and break doors with Hulkbuster heavy attack. I also just enjoy his combat and ranged weapons
It’s true that it’s dumb cap doesn’t have one but things like hulk hacking the doors or black widow braking the doors would just be silly

Well for solo players I think they should let you mark stuff to be attacked so the AI can destroy the doors. I main Iron Man so it's not a huge issue for me I just go into Hulkbuster

I actually love the hulk. He’s definitely my favorite character alongside captain America. I feel like a lot of people are using him wrong. They expect him to be this insanely overpowered killing machine, but if that was the case you’d never use anyone else. He’s easily the best tank in the game especially late game and he also has the best CC in the game. He just feels like hulk to me even without crazy damage, which he still has if you build properly, because no one else can disrupt the battlefield nearly as well as him. The closest to his disruption is Thor, but it’s still not as good as hulk (he does more aoe damage but not more aoe disruption). I mean he has an aoe on his power attacks that launches at level 1. He basically doesn’t die even at lower levels if you use his intrinsic ability properly. He’s the only character that can grab with a special ability and it does a ton of damage when he lands it. His bone shaker taunts all enemies affected and helps him build up his rage to further increase his tanking ability. Also thunderclap just absolutely murders a lot of the enemies in the game and does a sizable chunk to bigger enemies even if you are building tank. I also rarely see people grabbing enemies with the hulk which is really strong especially if you upgrade the ability that lets you grab two enemies. You can do a ton of damage very quickly this way. I definitely see why people would want him to be insanely op I mean he is the hulk, but they balanced him in a way that still gives him the attributes of the hulk (through tankiness/cc/health regen) without completely busting the games balance.
I completely agree. I don’t main him YET, but what I’ve noticed is that a lot of people like characters that have a very low skill ceiling or is extremely easy to use. Hulk is definitely beast af.

I think the main issue is Expecation vs Mechanics, if you have to build a character to do what you expected from him early on it tends to drop them in most peoples opinion.

She’s strong but I don’t think widows intrinsic ability is all that good
Lord of Dumb yes especially in endgame gameplay. Not getting hit ONCE with everything going on is ridiculous. All that work for seemingly so little damage.

Lord of Dumb well if you only fight one opponent and dodge the attacks, it’s not that hard. Plus, I’m pretty sure you can get a skill the makes it charge faster
Her guns and abilities are the best, the rocket one particularly just devastates things and can have like 9 shots or something iirc
10:37 This right here is some of the underrated moments in this game that makes it feel like the movies. The same enemy got hit by Thor's hammer, Cap's shield and then grab by Ms. Marvel. Epic.

Love Thor. He’s my first maxed out character and you literally feel like a God.
I wouldn’t underestimate Ms. Marvel sure she is not popular but she has a really strong kit that may help tremendously with later content don’t forget that she has self heals, a lot of range, and can pick up her teammates with healing spirit
Cap can break doors open (hold triangle or y if I remember the layout on xbox controller) and everyone can use terminals, you just have to ping characters that cant use it directly, and it is a good Easter egg because Thor, and cap cant really use technology because they don't really understand it. hulk does need to have some more love and dedication towards him and it was sweet that he cared so much about Steve but after the main campaign we should've seen hulk be hulk- but besides from that and the excessive amount of loading screens, it is a good game that both comic book and MCU fans can enjoy
I’d put hulk in the top 3 because of his Rage meter, the rage is absolutely INSANE, it heals you as you attack and take damage, it buffs your damage and the more enemies around you, the more rage works. Hulk is pretty insane when it comes to area damage.
Can’t wait to see the list once all heroes get released!

You judge the rest of the avengers by how well they play but not Ms. Marvel? If you don't like her, fine, but you should judge how well she is in her combat, traversing the inviroment, and survivability. Not how much you like that certain character. How does that help anyone playing the game?
Cap is defiantly number one
I’ve been using for Ever since I unlocked him
Cap can self-heal constantly, absolutely destroys anything flying or remotely grouped together and can block unblockable attacks. His only downside is that he can't hack or, for some reason, smash doors open to enter those rooms. He's great at both CQC and Range. My squad is Cap (main), Thor, Ironman and Widow. If you nuke everything quickly, you won't need a dedicated tank. Also, Hulk is definitely the worst character in the game. He needs major buffs ASAP.
Absolute Tyrant hulk is my main he clears out entire rooms in one thunder clap dealing over 200k crits paired with the ring artifact you can get your abilities back at an almost instant back to back damage as well as super tanky armour and no one sees his full potential with the correct gear and build.

Hulk is a good champ If your at least level 10 and put your abilities points on your rage and use gear with might,resolve attachments. He becomes a beast

@@Keychan64 hulk can heal. When you thunder clap you can have a perk that leaves a pool of gamma that heals (the whole team) Also plenty of options to drop regen packs. You could literally be littering the screen with regen packs constantly
Maybe since cap cant smash or hack, he should be able to..command. if he had the option to direct the A.I he'd be better.

My favourite is probably thor, I like throwing my hammer down and fighting with fists, even though it does less damage, my second favourite is definitely cap though
Every hero is great as long AS YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT DAMN IT!!! I see a lot of people complain about Iron Man and I don’t know but I fucking DOMINATE WITH TONY!!! By the way I don’t get the cringe about Kamala, I think she is a good character and about her dialogues I mean cmon people she is a damn teenager that is joining the Avengers! Just imagine how exiting that could be 😎

My personal rank
1. Cap (Combo master, good offense and good defense with shield block)
2. Thor (Amazing DPS, keep in mind at lvl 1 PL 10 he already have 600+ valor)
3. Black Widow (amazing kit that offers a lot of takedown possibility, great travel option)
4. Hulk (Good substain when upgraded)
5. Iron Man (I dont like his kit, hard to master IMO, but once you get all the combo its good, hulkbuster is a OP)
6. Miss marvel (fun to use, easy to master IMO, good healing for self and team)
For Cap they should add one ability that when you are running with shield up, charge Y to demolish large door or run through ennemy.

They should also add team moves, like iron man and Thor shooting lighting and lasers at caps shield and having a “super beam” come off the shield. Or one where cap can run through iron man’s energy barrier and have it create a large barrier that moves with him as cover for teammates
Or there should be a way to command ai team mates to break down the doors or if you sprint and hold block you can run through the door and break it

I literally played Thor for the first time yesterday and regret not leveling him first. Still I agree with this list. I love Widow more than Iron Man but he can get around the map faster and easier than she can.
For me, I've them all at 50 and playing as them with all their abilities unlocked I have found that none of them are bad. They all have their pros and cons depending on the mission type and what gear you use.
Hulk is only my favourite cause playing some Youngboy or Comethezine fits when man-handling some goons

Kamala Khan is acc a great character. Her struggle wit having super powers in her life made her very interesting. I also like how she represents a part of us by fan-girling over the other avengers

I will say that as a guy who plays only on the highest difficulty, the defense buff from the Hulk taunt is reeeeally great.
I now think I am ready to play on highest difficulty in any game now. Reading this made me realize it so thank you
Thor: all might/proficiency, Invulnerability bracers, apex belt with signature dmg, dmg buff armor, proficiency ISO with 5.5% sig crit, might ISO with 12% sig dmg. You will stay Invulnerable during entire fights while you "spin to win". It's a broken build and I haven't gotten anything less than a 100% on challenge 4 in nearly a week. Not only are you completely Invulnerable but you do so much dps with your signature that you can complete the 14 floor heroic hive in about 20 minutes every time.
you spend 10 minutes in the elevator alone so I highly doubt you clear 14 levels in 10 minutes on challenge 4. Don't think thats possible at all.

Of course I'm biased but I'd have widow, cap and thor at the top simply due to their ability to recycle heroic energy. Kamalas heal is also super busted. Its so hard to rank because all of the heroes are SO good lol great video

I play mainly kamala and I agree her heal is busted I can revive down players heal them and also have a few seconds of constant healing too so that they can keep beating on the boss and take a few hits.

Kamala is one of my favorite, didnt find her cringe at all. Probably the best dialog in the game. Also he failed her support capabilites (like he did for widow) she can heal her whole team, and rez them from a distance.
It'd be cool if in raids (where there are huge maps), they let you could use vehicles. So that Cap and Black Widow could use their bikes or S.H.I.E.L.D cars and stuff. That'd open the possibilities for DLC characters having vehicles too..

@@wuslayer6849 I don't see what Iron Man can do that Thor cannot, they both fly and Thor has a heavy attack that can break doors (whereas Iron Man has to use the Hulk Buster). The only difference I see is that Thor is better in combat than Iron Man based on what other people have said.

Thor is my main just got him to lvl 50 today and pretty much only reason I die is when I get too cocky and rush in when there’s like 4 adaptoids
Kind of undersold Kamala's healing. With a few skill choices she has 3 charges of group heal/instant revives. She has her spin move that can clears out trash mobs in a large radius and her Embiggen form makes quick work of anything short of bosses. At the very least you should play her until you unlock all her healing options so the AI version will heal and revive you while playing solo.
From a purely design perspective, I think that Hulk and Iron man have been designed the best as far as abilities etc goes. Thor I think is my main because in my opinion lightning is awesome and zapping robots over and over again makes me happy.

So... A quick question regarding the entire game, I figured out that the HARM room is the best way to level up the characters. But which HARM room is the best to use to level up the characters? I want to try to get the current 6 characters to level 50 before the DLC comes out.
Thor is the most devastating. You can play him up close in melee fights. You can use him as long distance air cover. He can be 2 rooms away and still Fry enemies with his hammer's lightning.

4. Thor
5. Captain America
6. Mrs. Marvel

Pretty early in the game, but so far I'd rank them: 1- Cap, 2- Ironman, 3- Kamala, 4- Black Widow, 5- Thor, 6- Hulk. I've only played as Thor once and Hulk like 2 or 3 times. My opinion will likely change as I get more experience with each and see how differently they play at higher levels.

I used Cap’s parkour skills to my advantage in fighting and roaming around since he can wall run and wall jump and it’s really really fun to use

Super soldier serum doesn’t make cap that strong honesty, he’s probably just a few levels above an Olympic athlete, which makes sense that he can’t break down huge doors. He’s still only just a human.

How is hulk above widow?
My list would probably be:
1) Thor - just fun and feels so powerful. God of Thunder and feels like it.
2) Kamala - just seems to be the best all rounder and the healing ability is extremely useful
3) Black Widow - basically a ninja with electric batons, guns and a grappling hook, what's not to like
4) Iron Man - It's Iron Man....need I say more (Flying is so good for exploring)
5) Captain America - bit limited for exploring the environment but a good brawler and the shield is fun
6) Hulk - I think I just expected more from the Hulk. Still fun though

I wanted black widow to be my main but after getting her to lvl 50 and playing as her for a few days im not so sure. Dont get me wrong she can do bonkers worth of damage but i dont like how WHEN you get hit the damage buff goes away. Makes sense yes i just dont like that mechanic.
Thor is literaly Mighty in this game, he is my main character.

They need to add more characters in this game like 1 or 2 characters each 3 months ... there is so many characters they can add , am pretty sure way more ppl will play the game or return to the game and its gonna be fun to play with alot of different characters in a match,

I picked Thor as my main character when it came out, using the Hammer is so fun and the special combo holding down the square button and just spinning the hammer around hitting everyone is so cool
Cap and Thor are my favourites because their combat is so fluid. Probably gonna main Spider Man when he comes out though.
I think when they add Black Panther he will traverse similar to Captain America, but slightly faster because that’s how it is in the comics and MCU. I think he will have an ability where the more damage he takes the more his suit charges up (and gets more of that purple glow to it) and when ever you want to (mainly when it’s fully charged and all purple) you can hold down R2, or some other button, and he will create a shockwave, or whatever you call it, dealing a ton of aoe damage and maybe even stunning the enemies closest to you.

I actually thought Ms. Marvel was the top dog when it came to story and dialogue, she was who kept the game interesting because without her i don't think i would have kept playing. Iron Man is my numero uno for the fighting with Widow #2, Cap at 3 and Ms, Marvel at 4. Ms, Marvel will make a grand entrance in the MCU soon and will really be amazing if they don't screw her up.
They don’t have her in phase 4 of the mcu, so we are going to be waiting a while for that.
I agree! I loved her dialogue, she's literally an avengers fan just like us and I kind of feel like I'd be fan girling as well if I were in her shoes 😂 and not to mention she is a bad ass when it comes to clearing rooms of enimies, those fists are deadly.

Good video man. I have only really played hulk but you were 100% on point about him - in the beginning you have to play defensively or you’re toast. That isn’t how the hulk should be!
i think its ironic that you put hulk on the bottom, when me, a non hulk fan, have found him the most entertaining to play.

I would love for Hulk to get buffed a bit. I have a high level Hulk, and my favorite thing is to just murder everything with BFG Division in the background.

I would put Hulk on the top of my list. I never had an issue playing him early on even on Brutal. Never understood why people thought he didn't feel like hulk. His parry is easy as hell and his healing is really good. The amount of crowd control is insane. I will agree a larger jump or maybe a momentum based sprint for travel would be nice. I absolutely hate playing Iron Man because the controls for flying are IMO clunky alongside the camera and his voice lines give me a headache. Thor is fun but I also hate his flying. My top 3 would be Hulk, then Widow, then Thor. I would put Thor higher if I felt his flying was better.
My max build hulk is pretty unstoppable and if they buffed him I think he would be far too OP. Constant Thunderclaps and Takedowns that just one shot everything and constant healing with Rage. I struggle playing any of the other characters besides Widow and Thor just because I don't have has as fun as I do on Hulk. Not going to lie I also like playing Hulk because all of the other heroes won't shut up with their corny lines whereas I only deal with Hulk Smash lmao.

The Meta is currently generating heroic orbs and spamming the field with ultimate abilities, the characters currently with spam abilities are Captain America Black Widow. Thor and so on, so ... I respect your list but not exactly meta
There is no meta to this game, all characters can perform and builds are not very important, compared to skillful games like destiny this is nothing. Meta in this game is just whatever is more fun to use.

A friend of mine said he hates traversing with Cap and wished they had given him, at the very least, a nano tech motorcycle. I played the beta back in August and didn't realize how much fun I was having with Black Widow and decided to make her my main.
