I FEEL YOU! I had a hard time dancing to this too but after several practices I manage to only got 50% of it. I practice the hand dance first then after that concentrate on the leg movement and dance positions. :) Hopefully you get it! ^^

I would agree only the chorus part is kinda easy but the verses and the intro is hard. And it's very hard to synchronize like how they do it...

It seems pretty hard, it's just that, some Buddys standards are TOO high. Since we are used to see GFRIEND having many arm and leg movements, lots of spinning and jumping + the dance break and highnotes, it looked like so easy and plain but tbh, if you don't have seen their other dance, you will think that this is also hard. And yeah, people nowadays claims that a dance is hard if there are lots of body waving, head turning, hair slapping, and if it's a girl crush, lol.

Yeah, and to be honest, hard doesn’t always mean good for a choreo. It’s more about how well it fits the song. I preferred Dance to the moon night, but this is still cool (especially the beginning)
And the funniest thing is that famous girl crush group's choreos aren't even "hard" or well executed but cause it's girl crush they supposed it's hard. And you're right, I showed this to my friend who knows about dancing and said the choreo was pretty complicated and what made it seem easy was the chorus that had more stops and standing moves.

The choreo for sunsum looks easier but is harder to nail. First, it's all about timing and synchronization. The movements are more scattered and each are slightly different, and requires more training and memorization. But hell yes, our gfriend aced it. Hard.

after watching this, i think they toned down the choreo a bit because they wanted the public to have it followed with ease. also, hard choreo is even harder with the positioning they have with the song, you can see them running from left to right and back and forth. so let's not complain if the choreo is way easier than their other title tracks, lets just continue supporting them like a true buddy would do ☺️☺️☺️

When I see the live performances, the choreo looks pretty easy. But when I watch the dance practice, it suddenly became difficult XD
That's because camera on music shows don't focus on idol full dance shot. It's a good thing they post their dance practice for every comeback.
This dance is NOT easy.
The best way to judge is to turn off the music & watch the moves. Sometimes the music makes the dance seem harder or easier than it is, for instance Rough has some instrumental that almost makes a punching sound & it looks really satisfying because they synch those sounds with certain moves. Sunny Summer has a completely different instrumental, it's a soft song, so the moves seem soft in return, but for the person doing them it actually takes effort, there's a lot of squatting & bending down to the ground & jumping in between all the 'easy' moves. This is kind of the same as TFTMN, they do a lot of soft moves but they're flanked by more harder parts, so overall it's a 'hard' dance. There's also not as much position changes in other dances, whereas in Sunny Summer they change positions every damn second!
I've seen girl groups with hard dances where the execution was sloppy. For me, synchronization is always the hardest part of any dance, even if the dance is easy if all members are in synch, that's impressive enough & always screams lots of practice. Not the mention Gfriend has already proven that they're capable of hard dances on top of synchronization. Where's the harm in doing a cute dance for a summer *special*.
I've noticed that their aura is different in this comeback. In the past, they almost seem like they're not enjoying the performance. B/c the dance is easy, they have the clarity to focus on the camera, they look happy & bright, their hair isn't flying all over the place, they can BREATHE for once during a performance.

I tried learning their choreography. It's actually hard. The part where they go up and down really hurts your joints a lot. And for the hand and foot position, I have nothing to say. For those who say it's their easiest choreography, yes but it's still above normal girl groups choreography!
