He does put love into his cooking but hopefully they can figure things out with the demand.

Jamaican food is what allowed me to meet other cultures with complex seasoning. Most notably South American, African, and Indian/South Asian food. I've never been more thankful for a cuisine.

They are awesome to cook with and love how fruity and/or floral they are before the heat kicks in. Man... it's been too long since I've had good authentic Jamaican or West Indian food!

The Metro Detroit area has SUCH a wealth of variety in cuisines, as well as within each type of cuisine. There are many Jamaican places throughout the area, and I've tried several. This place...THIS PLACE...is Out Standing. I generally don't eat rice (I would rather fill up on the meats not on the rice, so I usually just have a spoonful to at least taste it.) I don't recall how many spoonfuls I had, but it was more than one (I still ate less than half of the amount provided) because it was SO good! The jerk chicken IS quite spicy and the ox tails were incredible. Definitely the place I suggest first to anyone when they say they want to try Jamaican food. Thanks for this review!
Bruh. You created a monster. I’m in town for work (first time to Detroit) and pulled up on this place. Line out the door so I knew it was good. Put my order online while in line. Met some awesome people and had some good laughs. But bruh, after an hour and forty mins I talk to a guy who’d been there 4 hours and still no food….. I had to split. No joke dude works solo. Super nice guy too. Was super chill just doin his thing and then some lady and another younger dude showed up. Still didn’t matter. Hope it calms down bf I head back. The smell was insane and every box he packed looked like what Chime had.
I put my order online they accepted but when I went it was close but google say it was open. I went around 1 and it say it opens at 11. I don't get how was I able to place a order for pickup? They absolutely rob me for my money. I had file a charge back on my card and they call me back angry and I got angry back at them and said how you gonna expect me pay with no food and you guys close. As a jamaican who use to live in Michigan, I wish that restaurants was there when I use to live in Oakland County. I would drive down dequindre almost every day. If that restaurants was there back then I would go every day. It may be the first restaurant I go to when I make it back.

Not waiting 3 hours for no food), so these people can wait too if its that great, and I trust CHIME TO ALWAYS BE ON POINT. Love to see this review of jamaican food, because sometimes I be wondering if its cap or not with a lot of jamaican reviews. But even in 30 minutes, while long, hes got something down to enough of a science IMO. He could probably find a way to chop it down to 12 minutes with a staff, or less. 35 minutes DOLO IS AMAZING. The oxtail, curry goat, jerk everything, plus the cabbage str8 smacks like no other nbs, rolls home made and fresh and the rice and peas are unmatched.
Went to try this place out and UMMMMM he has been sold out of snapper, ox tails, goat, chicken, etc plus he has a note on his door saying 3 to 4 hr wait 😮 for 3days. His restaurant has been closed. 😂 Chimetime done came and put pressure on this man establishment. Hopefully he reevaluates his plan in hiring staff and making sure he has enough food for the people. Blessings to this man's business.
