Golden Land forever negated the attempt to bounce a card so destroying it saved them in some capacity. That and lava golem burn was active after taking out the skill drain.

I could have finished there but somehow I was worry if he sent that skill drain to re- summon his Eldlich next turn , I would have got 1000 burn damage from that lava golem

@@hard2k1ll32 from my understanding the golem is in(some) eldlich decks because it allows removal of boss monsters the enemy might have. the eldlich boss monster that recycles itself constantly can attack over the golem once its done it’s job. Idk what happened during the beginning stages of this duel but somewhere somehow golden lord didn’t destroy it 🤣
