Honestly, my first thought seeing the donor Satellite was "this thing is intact, why not just transfer the usable parts from the original vehicle, instead of chopping a full chassis into bits?" 😄
@@lacko623 I guess the car has some sentimental value to the owner, plus I think transfering parts over would be a bit over kill for the repairs we need to do. I could have just cut the parts off it and picked it up from the junkyard, but was afraid of missing something like the wheel tub I needed.
@funcle88 Fair enough. Had it been just a general flip, I probably would've just used the donor vehicle as a base and transferred everything over 😃 But it's still coming together nicely.

@@ford6 I found it's welded to the valance, also only way to mount the valance is if the fenders are on. Very weird indeed.
