I'm hoping someone can help me. When I joined the Church in 1987 I was 19 years old. Sometime around there I fell in love with a song from and LDS group whose name I cannot remember. (maybe Kenneth Cope) When I left NJ to move to UT at that time I made my (unhappy) parents a cassette tape with that song. They've both in recent years have passed away and I just MUST hear that song again. The lyrics were along these lines: "I know there were times I wasn't easy, I know there were times I made life hard, but you made me feel I was someone of worth who could conquer any mountain I climb.... so everyday I'll try to walk in your footsteps hoping that actions will show what words cannot say..." I can't remember anymore, but I SO much want to hear that song now. If you could help me out I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks so much! Sandra
MORE (written by Kenneth Cope) More steady, more sure More trusted, more pure Some say it doesn’t matter More trained and more aware More aim to get me there I climb this far You raise the bar You want my heart CHORUS: More fierce desire To stand against the wind More blazing fire When dark is closing in More love inspired change within So there’s more and more of me to give More words to learn and know More etched upon my soul Some say it doesn’t matter More tried, more true Less me, and much more You I stretch this tall You sound the call You want my all REPEAT CHORUS You keep reaching out-You’re calling out to me for More strengthened shoulders To face the war with sin More wise and bolder To save the souls of men A more faithful soldier to the end You want more and more of me to give More and more of me to give More love, more light, more purpose, more serve with all my might I need more hope, more faith, more patience, each day I pray for more More and more of me to give More fire, more zeal, more spirit to know what’s real More courage, more joy, more, more and more of me to give More grateful, more true, more humble to trust and do You call, I hear I’ll walk the path that’s set in stone My heart is fixed on getting home And what on earth could ever matter more? More and more of me to give More
Brother Cope you performed this at my son's seminary graduation and you'll never know how much I needed it and appreciated every word. I've loved your work and purpose for years. Thank you!

MORE (written by Kenneth Cope)
More steady, more sure More trusted, more pure
Some say it doesn’t matter
More trained and more aware More aim to get me there
I climb this far You raise the bar You want my heart
CHORUS: More fierce desire To stand against the wind
More blazing fire When dark is closing in
More love inspired change within
So there’s more and more of me to give
More words to learn and know
More etched upon my soul
Some say it doesn’t matter
More tried, more true Less me, and much more You
I stretch this tall You sound the call You want my all
REPEAT CHORUS
You keep reaching out-You’re calling out to me for
More strengthened shoulders To face the war with sin
More wise and bolder To save the souls of men
A more faithful soldier to the end
You want more and more of me to give
More and more of me to give
More love, more light,
more purpose, more serve with all my might
I need more hope, more faith, more patience,
each day I pray for more More and more of me to give
More fire, more zeal, more spirit to know what’s real
More courage, more joy, more, more and more of me to give
More grateful, more true, more humble to trust and do
You call, I hear
I’ll walk the path that’s set in stone My heart is fixed on getting home And what on earth could ever matter more?
More and more of me to give
More

Love love this song
I love this!
Que saudades da Missão😢
You want my ALL (not my "arm").
is there an instrumental/ karaoke version of this song? Want to sing it on the congregation. thanks and Godbless us all.
So pretty :)
Kindly edit the lyrics. Its not more fears desire... its more fierce desire.
Also "give my all" not "give my arm"
For more STRENGTHENED shoulders (not "strength and shoulders").
Weird I always heard more “strength in shoulders”
@@bradybess7868 this made me think so I checked the lyrics on kennethcope.com/lyrics/ It is "strengthened" but "strength in" would work.
Lol. "more fear's?" try "more fierce".
Gavin Ely you want my arm? Uh ru ok with just my all?
You keep REACHING out (not "ragin").
Kindly edit the lyrics. Its not more fears desire... its more fierce desire.
