    Awesome cut! I use the 1 1/2 to flick out around the outline and then connect it with scissor over comb. Different way same result. If you can’t cut it all your not a barber! I do a mean skin fade but a gents cut with low tapers and maybe a d.a. Still one of my favorite cuts to do. Love your channel man

      I used a 1.5 the first time I cut his hair and the neckline dissapeared lol. That’s why I mentioned I used a three, the density is light back there

    • @goofyjoe1
      @goofyjoe1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Always learning because you are will to try new techniques and style of barbering. It makes a days work interesting, to many barbers find one way of cutting that they use, it maybe works but by doing that you really get trapped cutting one style fir all. But if you're like me and get restless easy and need to learn all the new hair fashions you have to stay open to new ideas.

    I get clients that insist I use scissors only. This is frustrating to me cus I can get this same finish and result with one guard. Just take the 2 guard and glide it up not being flush to the scalp. Free-hand. But whatever makes a happy customer. I just feel like scissors take longer and I only like using them on top

    • @Bossiocuts
      @Bossiocuts  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You would lose the bulk he wanted if you did but I get what your saying and agree. Would just scoop out more not keep the guard flush

    I'm gunna get hate for this. (I am a hairdresser and barber) feel like some weight should have been taken from the top and the crown slightly and the disconnection is too much for me. Feel like you could get the same effect with a different approach to the shear work e.g a different sectioning pattern

      Lol what do you feel about it’s good to give feedback and you should... you’re speculating on something you think would look better. I think it’s hard to say a different approach would look better without knowing what the client wanted or cutting the hair in person. You could section the hair but you would need to do so while building bulk and having a disconnection where it is or you’d be giving him a haircut he didn’t want.
