I learned so much watching you create this gorgeous piece of art. It just goes to show one doesn’t need all the expensive supplies to create. Also, I was so touched by your sensitivity toward the two images that you didn’t want to add hats etc to. And the way you apologised to your focal point lady for tearing her a little. The criss cross sanding technique you used on your piece created a fabric like texture which I thought nicely brought together the whole magazine's intention! Gorgeous and love your interpretation of wisdom. I think that as I grow older so I am sinking into my wisdom more, making right decisions for me, by thinking about them, not over thinking them lol. Just not so spontaneous and rushed as they were in the past which got me into some trouble sometimes. Wisdom sits within us all at what ever age we are, just have to learn how to listen to it.

I've seen commercials for a process that prints the image on glass! Both have great potential. Great piece for you to have printed. Remarkable works.

I learned so much watching you create this gorgeous piece of art. It just goes to show one doesn’t need all the expensive supplies to create. Also, I was so touched by your sensitivity toward the two images that you didn’t want to add hats etc to. And the way you apologised to your focal point lady for tearing her a little. The criss cross sanding technique you used on your piece created a fabric like texture which I thought nicely brought together the whole magazine's intention! I love how the watercolor and sanding unified the background.
i am loving the coarse sandpaper right now...it is just a phase i know...i will be on to the next 'technique' soon...but i love the scruffiness that the sandpaper lends to the piece! see you on the table my amazing hero murphy!!!!

Gorgeous and love your interpretation of wisdom. I think that as I grow older so I am sinking into my wisdom more, making right decisions for me, by thinking about them, not over thinking them lol. Just not so spontaneous and rushed as they were in the past which got me into some trouble sometimes. Wisdom sits within us all at what ever age we are, just have to learn how to listen to it.

The finished piece looks awesome, but it did love all the layers showing their colors before the gesso and paint a bit better. A great idea I will certainly use though. TFS
