Finally someone who understands the not wanting to get in the shower, avoiding it forever, but like you actually love showering once your in and it makes no sense! 🙌❤️
Tip: use ph down for hard water stains! (The aquarium stuff) just put it in a squirt bottle or pour some on a rag and just wipe the calcium build up away!

I F**KING LOVE PELICANS!!!! That floaty FULL of Pelicans made me so happy and SOOOOOOOO JEALOUS!!!!! My husband said “Okay clearly that’s where we need to go” (I always talk about taking vacation where there’s Pelicans. Sadly we don’t have any in Halifax Nova Scotia Canada 🥲

I have hard water too. Get a squeegee and one of those scrubber wand. They work.amazing or you can get a scrubby disk that you can put in your drill

Yes!! I was shocked how well it worked. We have super hard water too!
okay so the shower thing, is 100% an ADHD thing. due to the enormous amount of executive function and sensory processes it takes to get in and out of the shower. What you just described , exactly in that way, is what SO many people with ADHD (including myself) experience and describe , esp on online adhd pages and groups. lol ...we loving being in the shower...but actually motivating to get in can be SO hard.
Agreed! I experience the same feeling of not wanting to get in, procrastinating until as late as possible, then finally getting in because it's crunch time... only to become one with the shower for WAY longer than planned, and then be in a mad rush once I get out. I've been diagnosed with ADHD for 9 years. So it MUST be an ADHD trait like you said! LOL!! So weird how we're all so quirky and different, yet SO similar at the same time. 🤣❤️
I agree. I am actually surprised that Rachel isn't aware that her ADHD is most likely the culprit in her shower procrastination. She seems pretty knowledgeable re: ADHD.
I came to the comments hoping to find an explanation. I've never heard anyone else describe this experience. Word for word what I go through but could never articulate to anyone out of embarrassment because I thought no one would understand or they'd just call me lazy. Thank you for explaining😭

alright my sisters did this to me and so i thought i would to you, when you say something mean about yourself say 3 nice things about yourself to counteract the mean/rude thing you said about yourself (in the beginning 3 seconds of the video). you're an amazing human and saying mean things about yourself is worse than someone else saying it to/about you. BUT i 100000% agree with the battle to get IN the shower. its so exhausting specially since i have Fibromyalgia so showers take a lot out of me.
