Rest In Peace Matsumoto-Sama. I thought about you last week and I wasn’t sure why, I randomly thought that I wanted to write you a letter, and I looked for addresses & emails online to get in contact with you. I am sorry that I couldn’t tell you just how much I appreciated your work and felt for your condition. I am upset to hear this news but I am happy that you may finally have relief from the pain you suffered from your condition. KOR will always mean a lot to me, and I hope to tell people about your work one by one. I would love to perhaps one day see the work in progress you had with that historical European manga you were planning some years ago.
Kazuya Terashima (known as Izumi Matsumoto) Matsumoto died at 61 on October 6, 2020. He had been diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis.

Descansa en paz Izumi MATSUMOTO, muchas gracias por traer a la luz a tan gran obra como lo fue Kimagure Orange Road. Hace poco mas de unos días que termine de verme otra vez la serie en audio japones BD me gusto mucho. Hasta estoy leyendo las novelas que saco después de terminar la serie.
I got into anime because of his works,
All these guys were failed to asked the most important question, “Where is the actual location of 100 steps stair where they were first met?”
We probably will never know.
At 5:42-5:52 it sounds like hes reciting a mantra. lol anyway KOR is undoubtedly one of the greatest manga works out there, certainly amongst romantic comedies.
Awesome video. I just started this manga and really am eager to hear his thoughts on it.
