That's the best tutorial I have seen for a while. Super good pacing. You avoided the temptation of explaining every single menu item in every single screen, which people seem to think they need to do. You didn't say, "Here's the login page, this is where they log in. This is the update button. Press this to update. Before you start, make sure your computer is turned on...." etc etc. Only quibble, pronunciation is REG-is-ter, and reg-i-STRA-tion. Don't know what else you do but gonna check out your channel. Thx
Thanks for the clear explanation! Now I would like to display the users' extra fields in a table and be able to search them. Which application can I use for this?
Thank you for the effort you put into making things clear and simple, it’s exactly what I was looking for! I’m wondering if the account dashboard for this plugin is customizable or not?
Thank you for your kind words! I am glad you liked the video. Yes, you can customize the account dashboard with this plugin, you can use the customize my account addon and create custom end points with different design elements, custom content and so much more. You will have to get their plus or professional plan for that feature :)
Thank you for your feedback. Since we haven't encountered any similar issues in our environment, we need to check why shadows are appearing on your form. Hi all! I am wanting to add an employee portal to our company website. This would only be accessible to employees (by using private login information). Would also want to be able to have links to other websites, links to documents that need reviewing or signing, etc. I tried the ‘members’ plug-in but every time I activate it, it blocks anyone from accessing any part of the website without logging in, even though there are no roles assigned to the pages. Does anyone have any recommendations for me? I hope I am making sense. Thank you in advance!
Hey. Sid here, the guy from the video. This plugin does have the feature you are looking for. It has an addon called content restriction. The addon will allow you to restrict pages based on user roles, login states and much more. You can even partially restrict content within pages using their content restriction block or shortcode. As for the links to documents that need reviewing... Once you can restrict pages, I am sure you could render the content however you wish. It doesn't hurt to try. Give it a shot :)
You can do that from within User Registration's Form settings. First, edit the form that you have created, from all forms menu under User Registration. Then there should be a form settings tab to your left. If you scroll down in the general settings, you will see a password strength section. You can choose the level of strength from there on. Hope that helps! Let me know in case of any confusions. Also thank you for your kind words- Sid

Does any plugin have the ability to define options in the user panel menu, such as "orders" and it gave us a shortcut so that when we click this option, the right side of the user panel will display the list of contents related to that shortcut? Is there a plugin to do this?
From my understanding, I think you should be able to do that with either of these plugins: woocommerce.com/products/customize-my-account-for-woocommerce/ or wordpress.org/plugins/user-registration/

can someone please tell me how can i customize login form fields? i want to add a "accept terms and conditions" checkbox field that should be required for log in
Hello Sid, thank you for the tutorial. I actually want to create a login page and then make some files accessible to only the logged in user. We’re having a boot camp and we want only registered members to be able to access some premium videos and resource. Can this plugin do that too? Can you recommend any plug-in that does this ?
You can do this in two ways, depending on your implementation. Here is related documentation for each method. Within settings you can turn on "Disable default WordPress registration" option. And only after that the default login and registration will be turned off.
You can simply go into settings and assign those pages manually and use the shortcode that the plugin uses, you can view those on the tool tips of the plugin. If you have any further confusions, let me know. I will help you.
