As I look back, I am glad God did NOT give me the things I asked for. Because I was NOT yet equipped. Usually, when you think you are ready, you are not. And when God calls and pushes you out the nest, you are, in fact, ready. Trust God's way and timing because He knows you more than you!

something that has been on my heart lately - that idk if it’s the Holy Spirit or not - is the question “what if you don’t have enough time left here to fulfill your heart’s desires?” it has nothing to do with me fearing death thinking I’m going to die young (I’m 24) but I have a very strong feeling that Jesus is returning VERY soon. and something about that makes me not even care if I ever get those desires, because I would get to be with Jesus!! I remember when I was in university (it was a christian uni) I was talking to another girl about Jesus potentially returning soon. I’ll never forget her response, she frowned and said “well I want to be able to get married and have kids before he returns” this girl was a pastor’s kid too 😭 ultimately I’m still trusting in God to lovingly provide for me, but if He decides it’s time to go home I’ll be ready to go! 🏃🏻♀️💨
It’s so interesting that you say that! Me 44 years old, a teacher! However in January I told my husband that I wanted to start my own daycare. I started to get extremely excited and said I’m going to put my all into this daycare to get it up and running. That same exact night I had a dream. The dream was about me being warned that something g dangerous was coming but I didn’t take it seriously. I was in a house and then that alarm in my spirit said they are here. I knew in the dream that it was too late. These two ninja looking men broke into the house shot me in the hand. I fell down and said oh I must play dead or else they are going to kill me. However, I still wasn’t 100% serious. Then, there was a presence behind me. I knew it was too late. I immediately woke from my dream and asked Father in heaven please tell me what was this dream about. What I heard was in this hour don’t take your eyes off me. It is a serious time , many will be deceived and no matter what you do keep watching. ( if I started a business my focus and time will be trying to get a business going, spending hours days and night trying yo have s business. Not watching and paying attention to my Heavenly Father. What profits a man to gain the whole world but lose his soul? Just pray that we aren’t deceived in this hour. Everybody wants wealth and prosperity but God says, set your eyes on things above. I hope you don’t mind me offering my interpretation, but when I read the part where you said you were shot in the hand I feel like that is symbolic in several ways. Not only of the fact that (most likely) our hands will be where the mark of the beast is placed, but it also reminds me of the fact that Jesus’ hands were punctured when he was nailed to the cross. ALSO, our hands are a means of offering worship, which is why we raise our hands in church service. I believe you’re right, there is no longer any time to keep focusing our attention primarily on the world. our time is so so short, we need to get right with God!

I can only imagine how annoying it was for Joseph in the well and in the prison, he did everything right even though everyone treated him so bad and forgot him and he still did the right thing and it seemed to drag out forever for him. Eventually God brought him out through,.finally. Just goes to show that just because something takes a long time doesn't mean you don't have faith or that you're doing the wrong thing.
