role of founder : They should be malleable enough to seize that opportunity…rest are just frameworks from past that may or may not work as luck & timing plays a huge huge role….” questions is “are you smart enough to seize that opportunity and how do you think about that problem"

Waaw! Any have felt like wisdom truth full of it
I wish I had 1/3 of the skill this man possess. We share a lot of the same interests. Like creating ideas from inception to several stages afterwards. That's my window of comfort as well.
He is good, but remember what even he said -- be wary of idolizing any single person. I'm guilty of doing it myself, but just thought it was worth mentioning. In short you can be as good as him

No, "normal kids" rarely change the world, because they have it too good that they pursue the regular 9-5 and are contempt with that. It's those kids who have "issues" that change the world. Take Elon Musk for example. He said previously that his father would be verbally abusive to him as a child. I think that caused Elon to over achieve later in life, so that he can show his dad that Elon was not worthless and can actually change the world, first with PayPal and now with Tesla and SpaceX.
AHAHA hilarious how he calls out the silicon valley bozos.
