When I connect my vita via usb through vitashell, I get message on vitashell that I am connected to pc but on my pc there is no sign of connection. What could be the problem?
@ 5:36 Have your vita connected via USB then after selecting the settings for USB connection, go down to the reboot option. Once your psvita has rebooted, launch the vita shell again and it should connect automatically.
Thankk you so much for mentioning how some folk might need to switch the USB device to "Memory card". That was driving me crazy! All sorted now so thanks again sir.

Ok, that explained why I wasn't viewing everything. On another note; I'm going to update my softmod to a more permanent one, would copying everything via USB using this method essentially do a full backup of everything essential before performing the mod?

My vita 1000 wont connect to my pc. It keeps connecting then disconnecting back and forth rapidly! I tried looking for a driver. I do have vitashell installed. Do you know what i should do?
I don't get this. I have the select button set to Memory Card (I don't have sd thing), but when I press select it still says, "Please insert Memory Card." But I already have a memory card.
When I try to do it it says not enough space that I only have one gigabyte which isn’t right. I have over 200 GB of space. Is there a way for me to fix that or is there some type of cap to how much I can put on there because of the format?
how can i transfer photos from my ps vita to pc ? Let me explain, i copied the ''CAMER'A' file on my pc but I can't do anything with it and it's considered a hidden folder
this console is more trouble than it's worth. Everything is a struggle like when using computer with linux. Nothing is easy and nothing works out of the box. Bazilions of libraries to install to run a simple game and still have problems with running it. The only app I have on my vita is Amiga emulator (as it is missing from retro consoles and not fast enough on my psp) but still it doesn't want to load kickstart 3.0 for some reason.
