@aikidunk It is a way to show the techniques, not an aplication. I think they are sincere. A lot of dojos prepare a choreography to make their vids more impressive and them do not explain it. I think it is a very good vid. ;)
Very nice video however the closing credits inform the viewer that the scene's and interactions where choreographed and stunt men took falls. This leads the onlooker to believe that all is fake.
I am an Aikido black belt and am making observation, not on skill or tactics or the display of such techniques but what was said as a reflection of that demonstration in the closing credits. Your comments are not relevant to my observations. In reflection to your comments about throwing attackers into each other however, the Ukemi becomes dangerous based on Nage's skill. Slamming Uke's heads into each other is dangerous. Controlling the crowd while throwing them into each other is not.
