Never, ever thought I would see John play live again. I do not take this for granted. Seriously.
I understand what you mean it's like magic and deja vu, it's hard to get used to this feeling. But taking it for granted is simply unacceptable.

It's always surreal when John rejoins the band because a)he is such a fucking awesome guitar player and b) you never see it coming
I know I'm not alone in this, but I've always loved John's voice.
Same! I've always loved his singing, he's not trying to be anything else than himself! It's not always perfect but it's always him and that inspires me to sing and play more than anything. So pumped they're back making music again!

@@scootermcgee8064 thats the word I was looking for, unconventional. He doesn't get enough credit at all! Imo he enhances Anthony's vocals a lot with his backing vocals. I also love his solo stuff and covers!

You know it's really hard to make it big in a business you're not a fan of. "Fake it til you make it" don't really work in music.
The only musician I can name who I think doesn't really adore music is Gene Simmons.
Was blessed enough to see him sing it Brisbane 2007. Funnily enough he was with Emily Kokal of Warpaint at the time

My dad took me to my first concert which was RHCP when I was 7 in 2002. One of my earliest memories is of John playing some cover song that night.
Fast forward to 2006 and that’s when I really got into music and specifically Chili peppers and John.
Seen them a bunch of times with Josh. Not in my wildest dreams did I think I’d see John with them again. I don’t know how many hours I’ve spent watching videos of Johns solo and chili pepper stuff.
Now I’m repaying my father and taking him to see John again.
The last few days has been incredible.

MAN! I was just at the Charlotte show and it was a dream come true to see frusciante. I am bummed he didn’t do a solo but I can still die happy. He and all the boys were phenomenal. His covers are always so amazing and special. This guys passion is so obvious.
