The thing about ultra stamp that upsets me is that there are echoes of a special that could have some genuinely interesting interactions in there. It isn’t something I’ve seen anyone talk about but ultra stamp eats zooka shots if you’re coming at them head-on, and it’s also an interesting counter to super chumps, not that a counter is super needed. In a perfect world it could’ve been a solid counterpick to zooka…
From the original game Splatoon 1, I thought that Shooter, Charger, and Roller were like rock paper scissors until I stopped thinking that, because the trailer made me think Shooters beat Rollers, ETC.
Why does it feel like Nintendo's solution to buffing underpowered specials is just increasing the AoE? Reefslider got an AoE buff, but it's still easy to punish due to the endlag. Ultrastamp's hitbox was increased, but it's still extremely vulnerable from the front. ._.
Can we like talk about match ups with brellas and splanas cause a brella match up against a splatana of any kind is like a chihuahua fighting against a Doberman cause it's a 1 sided battle
Lemme say this. I love hammer but it gets ruined in every way since no front protection from enemy shots. If Nogami adds that then all the problems are fixed
I am very very very very... very very very *BAD* at Ultra Stamp. And the special sucks and I get mad when others are good with it :) Also I really wish Wave Breaker had invincibility. Like COME ON, it only gets three waves, at least make it useful.

Fun fact the balance of splatoon is actually really good compared to other shooters. That might explain why Nintendo is so hesitant to make changes.
