    Great videos. No fake drama. Simple, straightforward. Very helpful.

    I agree with you 💯 percent. I bought a used 87 firebird with a 305 dude said it was freshly rebuilt but he didn't get the intake sealed properly. The China rails pour oil and when run hard pours out oil all over the rest of the intake... Thanks for the video very true what your teaching everyone. God bless you brother

    Good video, keep it up. The editing and camera work was good. I liked the simplicity in the instructions.

    Did u use a piston stop when torquing that balancer? How did that motor not roll over at 70lbs???

    Thanks! No sealant on the intake man bolts? What do you think about using gasket maker in addition to the cork gaskets for the front and rear intake manifold that I received in my fel pro set.

    The last time I used Fel-Pro intake gaskets, the rear water passage was closed. When do you open the rear water passage, and when do you leave them closed?

      where ever your water passes thru on your intake that connects to your heater core hose is what you use .....shouldnt have to worry bout the back because you dont have a hose that run back there to the heater core .....

      The rear intake coolant passages are closed on Gen 1 SBCs.

      +omalley16 Thanks for watching! In this video, we used a normal craftsman 1/4" drive ratchet.

      +Parts Pro how did u get the gasket to stay on the head? Did you use an adhesive spray?

    • @PartsProCenters
      @PartsProCenters  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      We just used a couple dabs of high tack to keep the gasket in place on the head as we place the intake on.

    What is that big round air filter looking thing that you see on a lot of 350s? How come you did not have one here?

      Hi Kevin. Thanks for the comment. I'm not completely sure what you're referring to on the big round air filter looking thing. Are you referring to an air cleaner? The reason we hadn't installed one of those in this video is because we had not installed the carburetor yet, so it wasn't needed yet. Thanks for watching!

    wholey fuck you put enough silicone on the vally shelves to make 3 engines.

      The more the better i say hahaha. Shouldnt really do anything bad anyway. You are best off using more and simply wiping off the excess on the outside and just wait for the silicone to set before you start running the motor and splashing oil around in the valley.
