Υou are entitled to one (1) piece on board:
1 carry-on bag up to 8kg and dimensions up to 56cm X 45cm X 25cm that can be stored in the overhead bin, or 1 personal item (women’s/men’s handbag or a thin laptop case) that must fit under the seat in front of you.
For flights operated with Olympic Αir (DH8-100, DH8-400 and ATR) the carry-on bag cannot exceed 55cm x 40cm x 23cm and 8 kg.

Oh hi! I might miss that part but, did your backpacks fit in under the seat? I'm kinda nervous tbh, even though i bought the carry on+ personal item fare i'm afraid to excess the limit somehow with my backpack (personal item). Hope you had a great vacation!
Yes they did. However, the air host/esses have no idea who paid for overhead compartment luggage and who didnt. So if it doesn't fit, just put it in the overhead. Have a good trip!

If my carry on 8 kilos bag with dimensions equals to 65 cm *50cm*28cm, so you think that they will allow it onboard?
56cm X 45cm X 25cm is the size of the overhead locker space. If it's a soft bag, sure. If it's a hard shell case, then it probably just wont fit.
If you make it past the desk, and they realise it doesnt fit while you're on the plane, they'll check it for free
If you get a caught at the checkin desk or at the ticket desk before the plane, they'll probably charge you to check it
So if my carry on is soft handbag without wheels with dimensions of 55cm * 45cm * 25 cm will be a better option to have the most efficient use of the 8 kilos onboard, right?

Weirdly, in Asia, 7kg is quite popular!
They don't weigh the carry ons, at least, it's very very rare in my experience!
BUT, one exception:... if you're going to the checkin desk and start weighting checked luggage, they will use that as a way to try and weigh everything you have.

you took the worst Aegean flight in her network… the dreaded flight of Cairo (see other reviews to understand why … hint: Egyptian passengers not known for western-world style courtesy)… Greeks are very relaxed people and as long as this is not threat to the flight they will always let you carry something extra … Aegean is one of the best and safest n Europe …
