I think the fact NCT has a few fluent members in english (2 of the which are native English speakers) really helps. I also think the fact NCT 127 has been in America and English speaking countries really helps aswell. He's honestly gotten so good. It shocked me a bit today.

@@nnyann i feel like maybe i get what youre trying to say? maybe its because they were reading the lines in english off the monitor so it didnt feel as sincere? the thing is SM wants them to really be avengers of kpop, and in other words, a group that will breakthrough on US market and sell well over there(and ofc internationally too) thats the main focus here. i feel like theyre trying something new to appeal to the western audience more, and honestly im glad they had such a warm welcome in LA. anyways like OP said its an ultimate group with amazing visuals, rappers, vocals and dancers coming from different SM groups, the amount of talent here is huge noone can deny them that. its just that will this style of promoting the group be what makes them shine in the west.

@@saidatulaishah8140 It keeps the beat for the artists and plays the music because the background music is inaudible while performing due to the fans. If you don't have the in-ear, it becomes very difficult to sing/rap on time with the song and dance to it as well. Hope this helped :D

When you're listening to their english - remember, except for Mark, English is not their first language. It's not even their second language (or third! Lucas and Ten both operate in 4 different markets). The fact they are standing on stage speaking english as their 3rd or 4th language is amazing.

Anyone who is bilingual or even studies another language knows how hard it is. So for all of the members to practice and memorize their words should be praised for their efforts!! Mark's grammar improved, Baekhyun, Taemin, Taeyong did really well, Ten is always good!! Kai sounded so cute with his English accent and even though Lucas was still shy he did well also!!
They were so nervous and excited at the same time...that's when you know this is an awesome group of guys because they are still humble!!! SuperM Fighting!!!

I'm American so my first language is English. Mark has improved his grammar, meaning less usage of "like" and "you know". Trust me I still use those words alot but I noticed he worked hard not to use them as much. Its not easy breaking certain habits. So I'm very proud of him!! Waiting for more raps from him!!
Amy Franklin using less likes and you knows doesn’t necessarily improve grammar. It just makes you sound more literate. His grammars was always good as he is fluent.

Only exception is when Kai has Exo schedule or his modeling with Gucci and whatever schedule Taemin may have. You can’t imagine the amount of talent each member have, like they are in perfect harmony in every performance, they possess great energy without overpowering one another, their chemistry as a group, they’re blending so well that it feels like they are not in senior-junior relationship that they trained all together. It’s hard to blend or harmonize with others that easily you need to bond for a longer time to have that chemistry but SuperM is so great and that’s talent!

girl they even yell sometimes. now that doesn’t mean the other parts are all fake, they just didn’t sing loud. the mic feed is so low but the backtrack is louder so duh it looks like they’re lip syncing
aww you can tell they still have first-stage jitters lmao. as a dancer i can relate, after formation changes you can see them looking down and around to make sure theyre in their lines, theyre SUPER focused on the choreo as opposed to being loose about it. its not a bad thing, all of their songs are very choreo-oriented, so its natural that even if they practiced it a thousand times, the first time officially performing it will always be nerve-wracking.
i know antis might use it to say “oh they have no chemistry,” but shit, when i performed routines for the first time with my team who was like a second family to me, i was super focused on just myself too. you gotta perform it a couple of times to really be comfortable with it, and be able to relax and focus on performance and having fun, and showing chemistry with your teammates. hopefully we get to see that as time goes on!

Which is why each of them have a specific talent (Baekhyun is main vocalist, Mark is Main Rapper, Ten is Main Dancer etc etc). Even if they all of something they are very good at, they are first of all performers. Not dancers, not singers, but performers. That is why you souldn't compare korean idols to singers/dancers.
You can be a good dancer or singer and be a poor performer. In the kpop industry, no matter how talented you are, your label will make you into a performer. You a good rapper ? Great, but if you can't perform on stage they you're not cut for the deal.

Damn Baekhyun's vocals are just on another level. I think he deserves more credit on his dancing too. The way he manages to hold his ground among a whole team of "dance" dancers, and still shines with extraordinary charisma/stage presence, I'm so proud of him.
That gaze of Taemin during his performances.... is like a black magic. I just can't get that off of my mind and keep looking for him.
